A great modern hotel based in central Rome

This hotel is great for a short break in Rome. The location is very central - good shopping and restaurants in easy walking distance. Metro station a short walk away which links to all the famous sites.

The room was larger than expected, especially given some of the reviews we read prior to booking. A modern decor throughout the hotel, very clean and staff were helpful and pleasant.
The only slight negative was the breakfast - lacking variety and perhaps could have more fresh fruits etc. However it was fine for a quick bite before hitting the road!
Overall I would recommend this hotel - a good standard for a city based stay. Definitely would return!

I booked one night here and so happy I did because I got stuck with a room on the 5th floor underneath the restaurant. In the evening I could hear the screeching and scuff marks being made by the moving & dragging of furniture. The on duty person at the front desk assured me that it would be quiet by 11:30pm. What if I had plans to be asleep by 10?? Aren’t hotels supposed to meet the needs of their guests? I supposed Twenty One Hotel is different.
I am extremely sensitive to noise so this was a big deal to me. I’m moving to my luxury hotel tomorrow, thank goodness, where I know they’ll be a little bit more sensitive to my needs & use some common sense because no one wants to be distracted by unwanted noises at anytime during a hotel stay. Especially as they’re preparing for bed.
The hotel is nice, rooms are adequate and very clean but I had bad luck in the draw.

Firstly this is not a 4 star hotel , the room is small with the tiniest cupboard to keep your clothes in . No tea or coffee machine in the room , the bathroom has a tacky shower curtain, sink in bathroom was blocked . Hotel is in a great location- lots of excellent restaurants and shopping near by. The hotel is in a good location, not far from the Lepanto metro station. It was around a 20 minute walk to the Vatican City in one direction and a 5-10 minute walk across the river to the Piazza del Popolo where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. From the Piazza del Popolo if you walk 30 minutes south you will hit all of the main attractions.
The hotel staff were welcoming and the roof terrace and restaurant were lovely, the breakfast’s were varied and plentiful.
Our room was very clean and was cleaned every day, however the room was fairly small and dark, the windows looked over a small triangle of other hotel windows so we were kind of in a shaft. It also smelled as though a previous guest had smoked in the room.
The bathroom was quite large in comparison to the room but was also very dark with no outside light. The wardrobe was very slim and one door only partly opened due to the fire door hinge on the external room door and there weren’t any draws so we had clothes on the chair.
It was fine for a few days and I wouldn’t say that I wouldn’t return but if I did return I would upgrade rooms.
Also beware the city tax in Rome, it is more expensive the more stars a hotel has. This hotel is a 4 star so it was an additional 7.50 euros per person per night upon checkout.

We had an unfortunate experience of a plane cancellation and had to get a hotel. It was late and when we arrived, the man at the front desk was so helpful. He accommodated all our needs. We needed Saran Wrap, information for a morning taxi, and lotion. He provided itWe had an unfortunate experience of a plane cancellation and had to get a hotel. He provided it all and even offered us breakfast. He offered much more hospitality than any airline did. The rooms are clean and have enough space. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Pleasantly Pleased! Visiting from Florida, BWP was fantastic! From the personnel to the morning long shot espresso - it was amazing! Nicholas, Ana Gabriella and Luca at the front desk were helpful with providing dining options, organizing taxi’s, and everything in between! Harpreet was our floor’s housekeeping attendant and shePleasantly Pleased! Visiting from Florida, BWP was fantastic! From the personnel to the morning long shot espresso - it was amazing! Nicholas, Ana Gabriella and Luca at the front desk were helpful with providing dining options, organizing taxi’s, and everything in between! Harpreet was our floor’s housekeeping attendant and she made us feel right at home while making sure our comfort exceeded our expectations! Giorgia, Maylen, Pamela, Jacqueline and the entire restaurant staff truly made us feel like we were in a kitchen that was filled with love and our bellies were full! Everyone we met was more than hospitable and extremely kind making us feel like we were simply at home away from home. The amenities were perfect- the shower water pressure was luxurious!
It was a short 10-15 minutes walk to the tram station Novoli-Palazzi Rossi (9 stops to the Santa Maria Novella Train Station/Florence City Center 1.70€ icket) The local bus stop was a 2-3 minutes walk away. The average taxi ride was 25.00€ from the hotel to Arno River/Florence.
The hotel was very clean. We never heard our neighboring travel mates through the walls in our rooms and didn’t hear any outside noise. The breakfast options were fresh and plenty and the coffee options were out of this world!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This is a beautiful and clean hotel. It’s conveniently located in terminal 1. If you land on terminal 2, it’s easy to get the 5 min shuttle to terminal 1. We went start of May, very clean hotel and clean room. I was apprehensive as I am a fussy hotel room stayer and google reviews said it was meh. The bed was pretty comfy I have no complaints there. You couldn’t hear outside traffic however I think the walls were quite thin? We could hear a random tapping which one the last day we realise was coming from next door. We also heard people sneezing from next door but we never heard chatter or anything so perhaps it was an unlucky very loud sneeze. Location is good not great, you can get to main Florence by the tram and it’s €1.5 so pretty good. You can take the bus too but we took the tram. It’s sort of near a train station too, 20 minuets on the bus. Was by a main road but slightly tucked in. I would recommend

The hotel is a short walk from St Mark’s Square and lots of lovely restaurants. Our room was a bit shabby with a few dead mosquitos on the wall but the bathroom was modern and clean. Really clean with great amenities, all toiletries provided. Excellent location in the centre of venice and we loved the courtyard bar. Quite rustic in places, as will most buildings in venice. A Wonderful Stay in a Perfect Location!!

Our stay at Liassidi Palace was perfect!! We arrived a bit early, but the room was ready and it was beyond our expectations. The price for our family of four was fair... no more than one would pay in any city. We chose this hotel on the recommendation of myOur stay at Liassidi Palace was perfect!! We arrived a bit early, but the room was ready and it was beyond our expectations. The price for our family of four was fair... no more than one would pay in any city. We chose this hotel on the recommendation of my husband's trusted business colleague who lives in Venice. It was a wise choice.
For the reservation... we booked directly through the hotel website. In our travels we have found that is the best because some of the other travel services have been negligent in the past. Our reservation was originally for a smaller room as our son wasn't planning to come to Italy with us. He changed his mind and we phoned to change our reservation. Mr. Daniele was very helpful and was able to make the change. There are two different groups of rooms... and you have to be sure that you are booking for the hotel and not the annex, if that is your preference.
The staff were extremely kind and professional throughout our entire stay. They treated my children with great respect (that goes a long way with me) and the staff member who greeted our water taxi, I believe his name was Johnny, was super sweet and helpful. He helped us off the boat and with our luggage.
The room was very clean and well appointed... I liked that it was separate from the room where the children were sleeping thus affording us a little break. The weather was unseasonably warm (we were there from end of September into early October) but we opted not to use the air conditioning as there were so many windows. It was lovely to look out over the canal.
Breakfast was good and the lady who greeted us every morning was very nice and accommodating. We sat in the little area with the view of the canal. Everything was fresh, the area was impeccably clean, and there was great variety. They even had "American" fare for those who prefer eggs for breakfast rather than an espresso and pastry.
The common areas are beautiful and relaxing. The patio area outside is lovely and especially enjoyable on a warm evening. The hotel was quiet despite being fully booked. We didn't hear much noise at all. We did hear a little activity in the canal the one morning which appeared to be public works taking care of refuse. One has to remember that Venice isn't a resort, but a city where people live... and respect that there will be normal sounds of daily life.
The location is brilliant... about an 8-minute walk to Piazza San Marco. There is so much to see nearby and the Castello neighbourhood is much quieter than San Marco. The hotel provided some good recommendations for dining and sightseeing.
We are going to Venice soon and have booked a stay at this hotel again. We hope to have as wonderful experience as we did the last time.
PS To the person who said that the water taxi should have been €70 and was €140... €140 is the correct price and while the water taxi is more expensive than the public transport, it is well worth the experience.

The hotel is clean and the staff fantastic. However the facilities were not so great. The hotel advertised air con but when we got there they told us they only use it in the summer months and suggested we open a window. We did this but the room attracted mosquitoes and we were bit numerous times. We also asked for a fan but were told that there were none available.
The hotel bar was only open weekends, this again was not advertised.
We had booked a deluxe room but felt that it was not what we would expect from a 4* deluxe. The room was small with a portable TV. The bathroom was large but only a bath and no shower, we queried this and were advised the wash ourselves using the shower hose attached to the bath taps, whilst standing in the bath.
As I said earlier the staff are excellent and the hotel is clean. A few alterations to the facilities and I would return.

Our room was very grand overlooking the canal. The size of the room is huge with such high ceilings. Nicely decorated and comfortable. Personally I would rather the spa be removed and replaced with a nice shower. Also update the old style hair dryer. The staff were all lovely andOur room was very grand overlooking the canal.
