We stayed in December and the hotel was very quiet. We had a double room which was small but clean and comfortable. The bathroom is open plan which we were not a fan of. The shower didn't even have frosted glass and the toilet door was sliding and did notWe stayed in December and the hotel was very quiet. The shower didn't even have frosted glass and the toilet door was sliding and did not close fully. The heating worked well. The room was at the front of the hotel and quite noisy. Our other family members had a twin accessible room which was understandably much larger.
Breakfast was very basic.
The reception staff were super helpful and made us feel very welcome.
The metro is a 5 minute walk away and the bus stop slightly further away.
About 20 mins into town by taxi.
I probably wouldn't stay again and would book somewhere more central.

This was a great stay, chose as not as expensive as other hotels in Rome. 5 minutes walk from metro and that area had restaurant and a supermarket. Excellent service, and assisted me with laundry and were helpful when I asked about staying for longer. Rooms were fine . I Love the location of this hotel, it’s convenient to the train station. Hotel looked inviting as soon as I walked in. Check in was easy and receptionis was nice and friendly. They had a good amount of selections and Coffee machine. One part that made us look forward for breakfast was the special lady who took an excellent care of us. Her name is Mrs. Benzel and she made delicious Cappucino!!. She made us felt welcome, comfortable and it felt as if we’ve known he for a long time. Thank you Mrs.Benzel for taking care of us during our stay. We will definetly come back and look for you again. She is such an asset for this hotel.

Just stayed here for 2 nights, perfectly met our needs.
Toilet has sliding doors, no doors to separate from main room, but that's the only thing we weren't keen on.
If you want the air con, ask at the desk. It was no problem for them to turn it on.

Over all this is a great hotel and I would stay here again, but I didn’t think the breakfast was very good. The eggs were awful and were nearly room temperature. The cheeses were fine but, the pastries tasted like they were made in a large commercial bakery. The cheeses were fine but, the pastries tasted like they were made in a large commercial bakery. After the first day I had cereal and was happy to find the milk was cold. Room temperature milk on cereal is gross in my opinion. They had a nice juice selection.
Our room was on the same floor as the breakfast area and I was worried about noise in the morning, but I was happy see the door separating the dining area from the hallway was closed. That’s why I wasn’t awoken early by the clattering of the dishes. I appreciate the attention to important details.
Our room was on the first or second floor facing the roadway, but there was a large tree between us and the street that muffled the noise. We had the windows open quite a bit while we were in the room and while there was some noise, when we closed the window the noise was silenced.
My favorite part of our stay was the easy access to the terrace just outside the breakfast room. It was quiet and a nice way to wind down after a busy day sight seeing.
The hotel is close to the metro station, and seemed closer in the morning than in evening after a long day on our feet when it felt a little longer. Still, it was nice to stay in a less touristy area. We arrived via the metro and the walk with bags wasn’t bad. We actually exited on the opposite side of the station and that made the walk a little longer. There is a self service laundry mat nearby, which was much needed since we were on a long trip.
The most important part is that the room was clean, comfortable, and modern, although the toilet wasn’t very efficient at flushing and wasted water since it always required a couple flushes. Poor design, not a maintenance issue.
Some of the exterior photos don’t do it justice.
I would certainly stay here again.

A very unusual experience from start to finish. The "interesting" bald man at check in stared into my soul and then tried to make conversation by saying we cannot travel through Europe without passports but "this is okay for Atlantic Palace". I still have no idea. Our friend escorted us in silence to the elevator that sounded like an Airbus A380 taking off. "This is okay, we have this sound" he reassured us. After our silent journey upstairs and numerous "you're welcome"s, we found a strange smell in the hallway of drainage. Thankfully this wasn't in the actual room. The room was clean and tidy, just a little too dated and didn't blow us away. We also phoned for room service coffee in the morning which was not delivered, so we phoned again and a woman who looked like the cleaner appeared with a Julius Meindl full setup in hand, very apologetic.
I would recommend this hotel if you get a good deal, as it's certainly cheap and cheerful.

Very central hotel and super convenient. Most attractions within easy reach. Friendly helpful staff.
Rooms are a little small and a little basic but it was fine. You don’t spend a lot of time in a hotel in Florence !

The room was secure and we were comfortable and Yes , we would return.
We were driving our own car and the hotel has a space to park literally outside the door to un load. Very useful. Same on departure.
Parking was separate and minutes walk away. small Fiat car , 2 days, €64 which was ok.
Parking can be €8 an hour short term !!!

Central location,not far from train and tram stop. Easy walking to Basillicas,Duermo,Palazzo Vecchio and the river.
Stayed in a quirky classic room,comfy bed, clean , faded grandeur. Shower a squeeze but charming. Air con could4 night City break stay. Didn’t read reviews till after. Surprised as had a fab stay here.

Staff at reception and breakfast, friendly,kind and helpful. Printed some docs for us and sent a fan up as we asked. No problem. Our room faced inner courtyard so nice and quiet. Street rooms will be noisy as leather market in street.
Breakfast good choice of continental meats,cheeses and hot eggs bacon. Plenty of fruit cereals,pastries and Italian torte etc. coffee machine but good.
Do prepare for mosquitos,keep lights off at night if windows open.Florence does sit on a river.

I had an amazing stay at the Hotel Atlantic Palace - the staff were kind and efficient; I have a gluten intolerance and they were very helpful, giving me an entire basket of gluten free breads and cakes at the breakfast! The room itself was beautiful and large, nice bathroom,I had an amazing stay at the Hotel Atlantic Palace - the staff were kind and efficient; I have a gluten intolerance and they were very helpful, giving me an entire basket of gluten free breads and cakes at the breakfast! The room itself was beautiful and large, nice bathroom, adjustable A/C, comfortable bed. The hotel is in a brilliant location near a market and the Medici Chapels, with the other main sights a short walk away. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Atlantic Palace!

3 star in my opinion. Location was perfect. As you walk into reception is stank of sewage the whole time we were there. Reception guy was rude and abrupt when we check in. Room was average. We was on 3rd floor with a window was high up had to climb3 star in my opinion. Location was perfect. As you walk into reception is stank of sewage the whole time we were there. Our 2nd stay here- great location on the canal and close to transportation via train, bus or water taxi’s. They have their own dock for transport as well. The room was small but is typical for Europe. They have their own dock for transport as well. The room was small but is typical for Europe. It was clean but a bit worn- the hair dryer was coming off the wall so difficult to use. Beds were twins- pretty comfortable. The towels were very thin and needed replacing with something of better quality. They provide a mini bar refrigerator and we had a small Juliette balcony with a side view of the canal. The staff at the front desk were less than friendly- only one younger gentleman was kind and patient with our tourist questions regarding transport around the canal. We understand Venezia gets SO many tourists the service industry probably just gets sick of dealing with all the people. It’s unfortunate but we experienced that pretty much everywhere and didn’t take it personally. The breakfast with a view of the canal makes this hotel worth the sacrifices. Get a room with a balcony!
