Overall, good experience, however, there are some things to note. Whilst the bathroom was clean, the overall room was very dated. Towels were replaced everyday. Breakfast was very average and often cold. The hotel was generally very quiet and you could only hear a small amount of noise from outside.

We found some staff members, such as Sonia, to be very helpful, but for others to be not as helpful. In the room, there was no fridge, kettle or telephone to reception, so it was very basic. The room size surpassed our expectations, but this did not make up for the other factors. The room door lock was also quite questionable, and did not have a peep hole.

Very good hotel, everything was superb! The New Year experience was beyound our expectations. The personnel is great and do their job flawlessly. I'd like to highlight the recepttionist Egor and his professional attitude. Breakfast is very rich with lots of options to choose from. All good.

Great hotel, delicious breakfast, clean rooms, best location very close to metro, fantastic service and hospitality, very friendly helpful personnel (big thanks to Egor), amazing New Year atmosphere. We would definitely come here again and visit more hotels in the Czech Inn hotels network in the future!

We just checked-in and we are very happy with our choice. At the reception young ladies gave us welcome drinks. For New Year Hotel prepared prosecco and sweets which was very good and tasty. The room was clean and comfy. Everything whats needed was there

Stayed here a few nights. My room on the 9th floor had a very nice view of the city. The bed was comfortable and I liked the long desk table near the window.
The bathroom shower was a bit small but nothing deal breaking.

There’s a restaurant at the ground floor. The hotel is close to the light rail street car public transportation. It’s about a 5 minute walk to the actual train station so it’s pretty convenient.
Bonus: the big bus tour stops right in front of the hotel making this a great hotel for sightseeing.

Even with window shut and AC on full blast it did virtually nothing. We spoke to several other guests who were attending the same event as us and they experienced the same issues with the AC. We were originally only provided with one pillow each which just smushed down into nothingness. The duvet was not wide enough for the bed - seemed more like a single duvet. The breakfast was ok - wide selection but basic not high quailty food. The location is great and all the staff we came into contact with were friendly and efficient. Room ammenties were minimal- only a tiny bin in the bathroom and no kettle/hot drink facilitites. Would only stay here again if the AC was improved as it really affected our ability to sleep.

With trams buses,Maetro and even the Airport Express bus within 50 metres the location cannot be better. With over 65 year olds having free travel in all types of public transport all the sights are easily within reach

Mixed feelings about this hotel for the following reasons:
Pros-
Central location. Most places are walkable ( within 30 mins) so long as you don’t have major mobility issues/ comorbidities. Plenty of restaraunts on your door step.
Clean. Although the hotel is basic, the staff do a great job at

Clean. Although the hotel is basic, the staff do a great job at cleaning the place.
Cost. Reasonable price for location.
Cons-
Very basic. No fridge or tea/ coffee making facilities in the room. I guess you get what you pay for but I definitely felt the effect of this on a morning. Pillows are too soft ( only 1 spare pillow provided).
Building works. We were unaware there were building works on site throughout the month of December so if you like to sleep in, this is not the place for you right now! We were woken very early by drilling / hammering etc.
We had paid for late check out which was refunded because of the disturbance. However, the room key cards stopped working anyway and we had to ask to be let into our room three times on the final day!!! I will be raising a complaint with the hotel again.
Overall, would I stay again? Yes. But only once building works are complete and if a few basic amenities are added to the rooms.

Despite slight misgivings during our last stay in May we stayed at the Ibis Centrum again in September. The location, ideal for restaurants, metro, the market hall, and the ease of getting to and from the airport are just unbeatable.

Despite slight misgivings during our last stay in May we stayed at the Ibis Centrum again in September. The location, ideal for restaurants, metro, the market hall, and the ease of getting to and from the airport are just unbeatable.
The last time I wasn’t very happy with the breakfast, but seemed sufficiently improved to me. There were also sufficient staff members, so no waiting for cups or clean forks etc. Just one word of advice: if you fancy something from the breakfast buffet, have it there and then. I spotted something particularly tempting, but as my plate was already laden, and I didn’t want to waste food, I thought I’ll have it the next morning. Wrong decision, it wasn’t on offer again during our entire five night stay.
We knew what to expect from the room: basic but clean and functional. And a nice view to the church in Kalvin Square. This time we were given a room with two single beds, and what I didn’t expect was that the mattress was just placed on a simple base, unsecured, and was sliding about so much that I often feared I’d fall out of the bed.
Otherwise an ok stay, but I as an Accor member I’m contemplating upgrading to a Novotel or the Mercure across the road next time.

central location, with nice breakfast buffet options and good front desk staff support. would have given 5/5 but the second elevator was broken during my stay. good that the repair team could come on sunday, bad that they came and shut down the entire elevator system over breakfast

The staff were really nice, we stayed in their standard room but if I had my time again I would see if there were larger rooms, which I am sure there is. I was looking forward to sitting by the fire in the foyer but I did not see it

I was looking forward to sitting by the fire in the foyer but I did not see it on the three days we stayed there. The tea and coffee were not replaced in the rooms which was a little annoying.
The beds were comfortable.
We ended up using taxi’s to get around instead of public transport.

Tea and coffee in room was not replenished every day, had to pinch it from dining room. Coffee machine in reception out of use for entire 3 day stay Meal times were manic!!!! Tables VERY close together and not enough staff. Queues at breakfast, however breakfast was ample. Bar area was busy, again understaffed.
20 min walk to Karl and Marienplatz for Xmas market. 15 min to bahnhof.
This was a package deal so hotel and flight included.
Hotel is situated in middle of Eastern European area so bit run down.

Good hotel in decent location - 15 minutes from Central Station & 20 minutes from Marienplatz.
Rooms a good size & are clean & modern.
There is a bar and restaurant which is just off the lobby area.
Staff all very courteous although the barman would often go missing.

We visited this hotel for 2 nights in December for a Christmas markets trip with our 2 young children. It is a 10 minute walk from the central station and cathedral and the area is very quiet.

We had an early flight and arrived at the hotel very early for check in. Unfortunately our room wasn't ready earlier than the check in time, but the member of staff that we spoke to was so friendly and helpful, giving us tips on where we could go locally. We were able to store our bags for free in the lockers provided.
We were really impressed with the room set up. We had a main bedroom and then a separate lounge area. One of the TVs wasn't working unfortunately, but the one that was working had all the apps available for us to use. The hotel provided 2 cot beds for our children, which they found very comfortable. There wasn't any towels in the room when we first arrived, but this was immediately rectified when we asked.
We had breakfast included in our stay. The quality and range of things available was great, we all really enjoyed it. One of the members of staff brought over a box of toys for our daughter, which she absolutely loved.
Overall a very pleasant stay.

Room 502 is a small room with a single bed, it eas clean and efficient.
It had an amazing view of the Cathedral of Cologne.
I left early in the morning yo catch my train so I wasn't able to have breakfast.

Stayed here with our two small dogs and had a lovely experience. The room was really big ,as was the bathroom, and had a lovely view on to the courtyard. Everything was very clean. The bathroom showed tiny signs of age if I’m being picky but even then the room

There is construction going on at the front but we didn’t hear it at all. We were facing the courtyard so maybe this helped. Either way didn’t bother us. Just couldn’t drive down the street.
They don’t have a car park but an agreement with a local parking garage (5 min max walk) that you can pay to use. I can’t remember the price sorry!
The location is a 10 min walk from the Cathedral and 15 from Alter Markt where there’s lots of places to eat and drink. So perfect for us and the dogs!

A big drop down from last year.

This is the 2nd time I have stayed here when visiting Berlin, in December 2023 is was a great stay, couldn't fault it. Sadly I can only give this a 3 star rating this time. I stayed here with my wife and we requested a King bed and paid
This is the 2nd time I have stayed here when visiting Berlin, in December 2023 is was a great stay, couldn't fault it. Sadly I can only give this a 3 star rating this time. I stayed here with my wife and we requested a King bed and paid extra for a high floor. As the building is only 6 floors high, I don't really see what the benefit was, in the end. We were given floor 4, not exactly a high floor. We then saw we had separate beds so another thing that we paid for but didn't get.
The room was very clean and bathroom in excellent condition. The cleaner done a very good job every day.
Staff in the restaurant for breakfast we attentive and the selection for breakfast is very good, however, all of the hot food on all three mornings was cold. I could not understand why it was so cold. Hot food was bought out each time it was running low, which was good, but it was always cold.
Location for the hotel is excellent, near the Zoo and Tiergarten, along with a reasonable walk to the train stations.
Sadly, I don't think I'll be coming back this December for my annual trip to Berlin.

Really nice hotel. Room was lovely, comfy and clean. Bar was nice and staff were friendly. We stayed for 4 nights and had everything we needed. The pool was really nice also. Nice and close to the Zoo, a short walk from the metro. Would recommend staying here

We booked in 19/11/24 for 3 nights for a city break room was clean and comfortable. Buses right outside door. We enjoyed visiting many places using our Berlin City Card which you activate once and use on all transport. We would have a nightcap in the bar each night and

Good location with amazing staff

Hotel has a good location with very helpful and friendly staff! Very good breakfast, Hotel is very clean,cosy. Also enjoyed with pool and spa. Room was very comfortable with balcony and its so comfortable for those who smoke. Will visit again! Highly reccomend.

Tiergarten’s Hidden Gem

Lovely hotel with attentive but low-profile staff. Handy little 24 hour self service shop in reception. Nice little pool with sauna and gym etc. The hotel was clean and airy, had all you’d need in the decent sized rooms.
The location is FANTASTIC. On the edge of the stunning Tiergarten

The location is FANTASTIC. On the edge of the stunning Tiergarten park (which was breathtakingly beautiful on a very sunny late October weekend). Short walk to the bright lights of Ku’damm, and a gorgeous 20 minute stroll through the park to the Reichstag/Brandenburg Gate/Unter den Linden.
Despite this perfect position, it was very tranquil, nestled amongst the various embassies which line the area.
Top notch, highly recommended.
