Decent hotel in Milan…..we stayed here as a couple May 24 & I would definitely recommend. The breakfast was nice & enough to choose from. A quick note in that the mini bar in the room is free but there was no price list, you’ll pay for the water! I

I didn’t find the staff very friendly but that didn’t matter as we were out & about in Milan the whole time. It’s tucked away on a corner only a short distance from the Metro which has excellent connections to the city & the airport. We flew from Linate airport & it’s only 25 minutes on the Metro. The area is hustle & bustle with shops, bars & restaurants. You can walk to the Duomo in about 25 minutes. All in all, Milan was amazing & well worth the visit!

The hotel is not as close to the central station as you are led to believe from the description. We paid to upgrade to a superior room on a higher level which was very hot and dark and looked nothing like the superior rooms shown on the website. We asked

We paid to upgrade to a superior room on a higher level which was very hot and dark and looked nothing like the superior rooms shown on the website. We asked if they had any other rooms to be told very rudely by Alberto on reception that there were not. After unpacking and approximately an hour later, we had a call from a lady who said we could look at two other rooms!!
Consequently we moved rooms but the room was only slightly better, one of the main issues was the heat, the hotel advertises air conditioning but it would not work so asked reception why only to be told they don’t put it on until mid April which was not specified anywhere! On the third night asked for a fan which when arrived only blew out hot air!
The choice on the breakfast buffet was good but then on the last day all the scrambled eggs were off so they removed it!
Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful but others were very abrupt and rude, when we checked out we were not even asked if everything had been ok during our stay!
All in all the hotel was disappointing and we ended up having to get cabs everywhere as too far to walk.

Lovely hotel in a great location, we walked into town every day through the park. The staff were very helpful, breakfast was excellent with a variety for everyone. I had a single room, very clean , lovely shower.

Our stay at hotel villa durruelli was nothing short of amazing. The hotel is close to Porto Ischia which made it an easy walk or short bus ride with our luggage. We were greeted with such warmth and hospitality upon arrival by Lorenzo. Lorenzo was always so helpful in providing any information or booking us reservations. After spending one day exploring Ischia we decided to extend our stay and they were able to upgrade us to a a balcony suite with a view of the Palace. We enjoyed some great cocktails and snacks at the upstairs restaurant, accompanied by some great disco tunes. The staff provided amazing service and by the time we left we felt like friends.

Perfect Location for an Ischia Break

We spent 4 nights here after touring Italy, it was very relaxing and just what we needed.
Perfectly situated between the port and the castello, with lots of great restaurants within easy walking distance (or the frequent island buses if you don't like to stroll!).

Staff were all very friendly and helpful, Laura was very attentive to guests. Breakfast (included) not a buffet, you select from options and they all come on the same plate. I ended up eating more than I would have from a buffet....
Pool was quiet and very warm, perfect. Our room had a great view of the castello - make sure you get that side, overlooking the pool.
Rooms were fine, but a bit small, nowhere to stash our big suitcases.
We did not use the roof top restaurant, too fancy for the kids, but we had the odd goody from the chef while enjoying a drink, so I would expect a fabulous meal!

We had a small balcony with table and chairs overlooking the pool and with a fabulous view of the sea. The staff were amazingly friendly and made our stay very comfortable. Vincenzo and Otto were both friendly and helpful but I cannot praise enough Lorenzo (little beard) on reception. He spoke excellent English and was extremely friendly and helpful, he knew what we wanted and would start to get it sorted even before we had finished asking the question. We had a lovely breakfast everyday, the poolside bar and restaurant provided lovely food and aperitivi but the rooftop restaurant is a must!
We will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful hotel. Incredible staff. Wonderful food and fantastic location! Views from our balcony and the rooftop bar/restaurant were breathtaking. Spa was awesome and all at very reasonable prices. Aragonese Restaurant is amazing. The food and service is second to none. Incredible presentation is only the beginning as the flavor balance

2,Use uk sockets, so bring an extension lead ( only 2 plug sockets available and not near the beds).

3, cross using the crossing around the corner ( cars will stop for you).
4, great little shop on the corner, the owner is only young but very kind, helpful and very good prices.
5, there's a walkway to the harbour next to the coffee shop, which takes 20 mins...if you're ok with stairs
6, trips to capri , amaalfi & pompei are easy from here, ferries from the port & the train station are very close.
7, you can drink the tap water but boil it 1st, then cool... it taste's better.
8, everyone works very hard here, the team in the restaurant, especially the lady with the red lipstick & the guy who welcomes you in all make a real effort.
9, there's 2 pools... no need to reserve beds , it's never a war for loungers.
10, the food is very Mediterranean, so ok if you like fresh fish & pasta. The coffee ice cream is home-made and tastes great.
11, remember this hotel is alot cheaper than staying in sorento!
12, the pizza restaurant across the road do great home made pizza , try the rocket & ham it's delicious 😋 ps bring a kettle & iron.
We have been here for 4 days now with no complaints 👌 10 days left.
Only regret is not booking a sea view room but we would rather spend the extra on days out & great restaurants.

This is a beautiful botel, with well maintained garden, amazing view to the golf of Naples and Vesuvius, big pool and plenty of sunbeds, parking lot, room small but clean, free shuttle to Sorrento. The staff is great, very helpfull. The less good part is that is in main road

The less good part is that is in main road wich is very busy and noisy, the beach is far away 10 minutes to go, 20 to come back - you have to climb a hill..., just two restaurants, one shop and one bar in the area. We had only Breakfast at hotel, we didn't liked too much, is the same every day, pretty basic, no vegetables (only unwashed cherry tomatoes), no olives, no fresh cheese.

If you are expecting a high end hotel in the middle of Sorrento with Michelin star food then this is probably not the place for you.

If you are expecting a high end hotel in the middle of Sorrento with Michelin star food then this is probably not the place for you.
If, on the other hand, you chase value and are willing to make a few compromises then this is a gem.
All of the staff encountered were excellent and I sensed a great camaraderie between them; many had very long service. Friendly, helpful, attentive and competent. Nothing was too much trouble (eg getting a kettle) and there were certainly no issues with English.
The hotel was spotlessly clean, the air-conditioning was great, beds comfortable. Views outstanding especially from the bay view rooms. Floors could perhaps be slippy if wet in the way of many shopping centres.
The pool and surrounding area is a standout feature and would be difficult to better.
Food more than adequate and several tasty and authentic Italian meals. This is what Italians eat, not what you see in typical expensive restaurants. Good choices available every day and complimentary vegetables included. Standard breakfast every day and good enough.
Station is a 10 min walk on a footpath adjacent to the main road. No issues and train seems reliable. You would be in Sorrento in 30 mins from hotel and Pompeii within an hour. Complimentary shuttle bus runs to Sorrento every day. Same bus takes you to day trips which are well priced.
The road is noisy but didn't bother me and couldn't be heard once doors shut at night. Similar with the entertainment.
The hotel won't be for everyone but if this review sounds like your sort of thing, then I think you will be impressed and enjoy your stay.

Not extraordinary, but good. There were a lot of loud brits, both in the bar and at the pool during our stay. But the whole hotel looked very clean and they had a great transfer service. Would happily go here again. Surrounding views with the mountains are nice.

- Beautifully situated hotel; this is coastal Italy, so if you are looking for somewhere as flat as Norfolk, do steer clear.
- On a main road. If I (live in countryside, no traffic at all) can sleep well despite the traffic, so can you.

- Stunning pool area and terrace (and impeccably clean). The views are spectacular. Plentiful sunbeds. It gets busy at the weekends - if there are no sunbeds, the guys will put extra out for you.
- Lovely, gentle entertainment each evening from the resident vocalist.
- Incredibly friendly staff; we were particularly well looked after by Enza at breakfast and dinner time and Salvatore in the bar.
- Great, plentiful food - but then again, my dad's family is Italian, so almost every dish reminded me of my Nonna's cooking. If you are looking for mass produced tourist food the likes of which you will find in major European tourist destinations which cater for hordes of Brits, then this is not the place for you. If, however, you value local produce, fish, pasta, pizza (all the Italian way) then come and enjoy. The breakfast fruit is delicious - peaches, plums, pineapple, melon.
- Functional rooms, clean and cleaned daily, rooms; those facing the bay have amazing views.
- Incredibly useful shuttle bus service: we used it to visit the beach at the Marina (blue flag). We enjoyed a beach club rather than Cicchi Beach.
- 800m from train station - trains to Naples, Sorrento, Pompeii. Don't forget the hill but if you are halfway fit and healthy it is absolutely NOT an issue.
- Italian pavements and Italian drivers - both a little bit mental. At no point did myself, husband or 12 year old daughter feel unsafe.
- Within walking distance to a few lovely restaurants which serve Campanian cuisine.
- A perfect place to experience some proper Italy and to explore some of this amazing, traditional, historical region.
Would we return? In a heartbeat.

Combined with the ability to completely darken the room this made it possible to rest anytime during the day or night.
The breakfast provided was just okay with capuchino coffee as well as pastries and yogurt. My sister needed gluten free food and they provided some gluten free bread and pastries as well as lactose free milk and yogurt. We bought fruit at the huge outdoor market and supplemented the breakfast with delicious fresh fruit.

Some easy improvements could make a big difference, such as a little tray in the shower (I had to keep the soap on the floor) and a towel hook near the wash basin (I had to use the bidet to hold the hand towel). There is a tiny terrace for the ground floor rooms, while upstairs there are more pleasant little balconies for each room. There is a little enclosed area available for car parking, not sure if available to guests. The staff was cordial and helpful. I found the price commensurate with its characteristics. I would go back, but ensure I have a room upstairs.

The fantastic hotel jazz

Just returned home after 2 weeks in sardinia .we stayed at the hotel jazz which was only a ten minute walk from the airport.the staff were very friendly and helpful.the hotel is in a great central location great rooms and a great pool.we would recommend it highly

Not fair Price for pets.

The hotel is good and well located (close to the airport).
Breakfast was also with good choices and great fruits (although the fruit juices are not good).
I did not use the Pool, but it seemed good and well cared.
The hotel accepts pets but charges unbeliavable 35€ per night. Was the most

All the basics done really well.

Great hotel with all the basics done really well. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. We spent 4 days here to use as our base to explore Olbia and it was fun and easy. Nice little cocktail bar and great restaurant with super friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is in an excellent location, very near the airport. Parking was easy with a large lot adjacent to the hotel. The rooms were comfortable with a good shower and nice balcony. There was a sliding door across the balcony to shut out the street noise.

There was a sliding door across the balcony to shut out the street noise. The only issue was the air conditioning was turned on yet so the room was a little stuffy. The staff was very helpful and brought us a fan which took care of the issue. They property also had a nice pool area. The hotel restaurant was excellent. The staff was very good and the food was delicious. The breakfast was great with a large assortment of fruit, cheese, meats. We would definitely stay here again.

First of all the smell of the room was amazing! Super clean. Couldn’t fault the whole experience for the entire week at this hotel. The staff are so incredibly lovely and are so happy to help. Superb breakfast and cocktails! We will be returning. Absolutely perfect. also location wise, olbia

Superb breakfast and cocktails! We will be returning. Absolutely perfect. also location wise, olbia is beautiful. It’s a 5 minute walk from the airport but doesn’t feel too industrial. first time visiting Sardinia and staying here has helped us want to come back. Superb. That’s all I can really say!
