Hotel Details
The Nayland Hotel is a 3-star hotel centrally located in Paddington, just a 10 minute walk from Hyde Park, the West End, and the many attractions London has to offer. The hotel offers 42 en-suite rooms, each with a Smart TV, free WiFi, and a safe. There is also free parking (reservation required).
Paddington’s rail and Tube stations are within a 5-minute walk and the Heathrow Express, departing from Paddington Station, will take you to Heathrow Airport in just 15 minutes. Also, the Elizabeth Line from Paddington Station takes only 28 minutes to Heathrow Airport.

The good points: The staff were lovely and breakfast was ok for what it cost (Continental) with as much as you like to eat. We went to the BST Concert in Hyde Park and the hotel was within easy walking distance so good position for what we wanted. Bad Points: We decided to stay 3 nights (twin room) and make a weekend of it. Our room was disappointing to say the least. It was small and cramped and was not anything like the photos of the twin rooms on the website. There was a ladies earring under one bed and a pair of mens shorts under the other, so not good house keeping. If the room had been a 1 night stay it would have been OK but disappointing for a 3 nighter. Wouldn't stay there again.

Quite disappointed with our room. It needed some tlc with the thread bare carpet around the edges. Made my skin crawl. Bathroom was tiny (the width of the toilet) and in need of updating with tarnished sink drains etc. No tea/coffee facilities in the room. It’s in reception - noQuite disappointed with our room. It’s in reception - no good first thing in the morning for that first cuppa you need to wake up with. Had to go outside in the rain to get to the room, felt like we was in the outside loo.
We only stayed for about 4hrs. Which at £340 for two nights was very disappointing. I shall write a complaint to the hotel directly too. Moved to an alternative hotel around the corner.

Had a night with my daughter after a concert. The reception staff were lovely and very helpful to advise us. The room was great us, especially the price when everything else was double the price. Fantastic location - we hired Santander bikes - drop off just outside hotel. The breakfastHad a night with my daughter after a concert. The reception staff were lovely and very helpful to advise us. Bed and breakfast. Take your own slippers for the shower, don't step anywhere without shoes, and I wouldn't be too sure about the carpeted floor either. The room would barely fit my suitcase.

On the plus side, they had a station for free ☕️ at the reception at all times. And the breakfast ladies were very polite. They offered in the basement/ breakfast room, toasted bread, boiled eggs, coffee/tea, butter, and cereals from 7.30 to 9.30. Free wifi. No room service. I wouldn't stay there again.

The hotel, close to the Jardin du Luxembourg and Parc Montsouris, wonderfully recreates the charms of the Orient. The decorations are beautiful! Staff friendly.
The room is small, we had a corner room and both hurt our arms on the bathroom latch because it is in a dangerous place.
No WiFi in the room.
Ok Airconditioning but you can’t turn it to get colder.

I stayed for 2 nights - the hotel is poorly decorated, WIFI doesn’t reach the rooms and the breakfast in the basement consisted of under baked pain au chocolat and burnt croissants. There was a coffee machine in the corner but the ‘staff’ in the grimy looking side room told me there was ‘no fresh milk’.
The room was cool but the shower had no shower curtain, toiletries were average and the hairdryer was ancient.
Staff are slow and resigned to the poor level of service they are providing.

Fun, sexy and convenient gateway to Paris, in Alesia

I just stayed here for four night and loved the area all around Alesia. It is INCREDIBLY easy to get in and out on the airport trains being only a short walk from Cite University station. Well served by buses. Good shopping closely and a quick walk into Montparnasse &c.I just stayed here for four night and loved the area all around Alesia. It is INCREDIBLY easy to get in and out on the airport trains being only a short walk from Cite University station. Well served by buses. Good shopping closely and a quick walk into Montparnasse &c. The staff are very friendly, the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming. I liked the camp Moroccan decor, although it might not be to everybody's taste. It's quiet and everything functions in a very efficient and cosy way. I strongly recommend it.

We loved our three nights stay at this hotel. The room was neat and tidy and the comfortable atmosphere is what I liked the most. The people at reception were very helpful and friendly.
