A very positive experience

I recently spent nine nights at this hotel. I am a regular guest, visiting the hotel every year. The rooms are clean and spacious. The location is quite good being close to public transport and with good parking on site. The beds are some of the most comfortable that weI recently spent nine nights at this hotel. The staff treat all guests with a smile. My wife and I had reason to organise a family lunch at the hotel for twenty people. I arranged the lunch with the restaurant manager Carole who organised the whole thing for us. The service and food/drink were great and our guests were very happy. I am aware that this type of event requires input from many staff members but I would like to single out Carole, Rabir and Iryna. Well done.
While our experience was positive we did experience service delays in the bar. My wife spoke to one lady, a guest at the hotel who had ordered her dinner which had not been served after waiting more than an hour. It appears that the bar is somewhat under staffed.
Finally as guests who spend a number of nights at the hotel has the hotel every given thought to installing a small fridge on rooms for long stay guests for that cold drink of water.

Brilliant hotel ,our room was very spacious and comfortable. Excellent stay in the hotel. Room was clean, well maintained and beds sooo comfortable!
Breakfast had plenty of choices and looked after very well by Carol.

Carvey lunch tasted like a nice home dinner, great portion.

Really enjoyed a wonderful stay in the Woodstock Hotel. The staff, food in the Shanaway bestro was devine, had the beef, it was exceptional and the cleanliness of the hotel was spectacular. From start to finish our stay here was wonderful. The moment we arrived we were welcomed by the manager, Oisín, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Stayed here for two nights in a family room on the ground floor. The room was spotless. Beds were comfy, plenty of towels for the three of us. Pool facilities were brilliant. We arrived at the hotel around 1930 hrs. On arrival we were upgraded to a superior room. It was lovely airy and quiet. We enjoyed our stay having had a very good night's sleep. Got up for a shower and then on to breakfast.

We enjoyed a lovely help yourself to delicious food. While we were dining the Manager came to each table and spoke to everyone...a nice touch!!
We then checked out as we had to be in Galway for an appointment. There were at least 2 bus loads of holidaymakers and everyone were was treated equally. Total enjoyment!!

We had a fantastic stay. Beautiful hotel. Fantastic staff. We booked our stay with Aoife, who was so helpful. As always Ciràn was great at reception, as were his wonderful colleagues. Returned for a relaxing stay in the luxurious and welcoming Brehon Hotel.
The very competent Boriana gave us a beautiful suite with a view of the mountains. We had a light meal and a few cocktails in the bar afterwards.
10/10 for service and ambience.

The spa is out of this world. Great personnel they have an eye for detail and very attentive.

We stayed in a superior room and when we arrived to our room there were chocolates and a bottle of wine. Amazing little hotel, very welcoming and right by a bus stop so is easy to get into the hotel.

We spent the final week of 2023 at this wonderful hotel that resembles a luxury villa as much as a hotel. If you desire a quiet, peaceful hotel away from the maddening crowds, located in a fabulous and safe neighborhood, Hotel Principe Torlonia is an excellent choice and a terrific value. The beds are comfortable, the breakfast is superb and the service is impeccable. Your transportation options to get to any part of room are plentiful with the Metro Stop Bologna only three blocks away and taxi to the Termini Train Station for less than $15. There is also an exceptional grocery store open 24/7 about 2 blocks away where you can get fruits, bread, cheeses, salamis, Mortadella and so much more. We hope to return to Rome soon to enjoy this great property again.

Experience at this hotel was mixed.
We went on an 11 day trip to Rome with another couple staying at the same hotel as us.
Unfortunately when we were shown to our rooms we were disappointed.
Our room was rather small had twin beds not a king and there wasExperience at this hotel was mixed.

Unfortunately when we were shown to our rooms we were disappointed.
Our room was rather small had twin beds not a king and there was little space for our belongings.
We had to keep most of our clothes in suitcases as there were only six coat hangers provided in a very tiny wardrobe. Hanging space for dresses was inadequate and my wife's dresses hung out of the wardrobe and the door could not be shut.
The hotel did replace the twin beds with a king size mattress and supplied another six coat hangers which made life a little bit easier for us.
The bedside tables are probably the smallest ones I've seen in my life and you could just about fit a couple of pairs of socks in these.
They were very few PowerPoints and the kettle was sat on a small dressing table but there was no mirror over it so rendered the Power Points below useless for my wife to use her hair dryer. You haven't realised the kettle wasn't plugged in and it was only by pulling all the furniture out that we were able to reconfigure things to use the kettle several days into our stay.
Our friends stayed in basement room which was more spacious but the there was a significant lack of light and when they arrived it smelt really really musty in fact they complained and the holiday tour operator some send photos of the room but then rejected them because they look too dark not a surprise given that it was a basement room and they got the lights on and the place really smelt of mold we were lucky with our room because at least it had a small balcony which overlooked the neighboring Afghan embassy.
The bathroom was of an accent size which is fortuitous because one of our cases was stored underneath the sink unit for the whole of the duration of the holiday.
The cleaners did an absolutely fantastic job and the rooms were spotless.
We did however have a problem with the shower tray which wasn't draining properly however this was sorted out the same day we brought this up with reception.
a special thanks to all the female staff who were fantastically helpful and welcoming and there was also a young barman who was there most evenings and he was really helpful supplying us with ice buckets corkscrews plates knives and forks so we could eat in in the garden which was a very pleasant experience. It's a real shame that the garden being so lovely was not made more use of for example the hotel could put a small cocktail bar in the garden for evenings and an evening restaurants service I'm sure will be very easy to set up in this particular hotel.
Breakfast was entertaining. It was over seen by a restaurant manager who behave more like a referee telling us what we could and couldn't do. On a first day when we turned up to breakfast at 9:30 we sat on a table reserve four and he tried to kick his off but we were eventually allowed to stay because we said our friends were coming to join us and as soon as they turned up he told them they'd only got 15 minutes left to eat to get their breakfast and eat it. The attitude of this particular manager did sour the breakfast experience but usually the young Italian waitress rescued things for us and made life more bearable. Like having a referee around scrutinizing your every move when you told off for not using the tongues properly to serve yourself with eggs and sausage. If you ask the manager for anything he would tell you just a minute and usually about five or 10 minutes later he would be back to assist and the lengthy delays were not acceptable. Harmon occasion I was waiting for some cutlery and gave up and took some from another table this I wanted to eat it outside and he just glad at me and left the waitress to to deal with our table. Other guests were equally unimpressed by the attitude of this individual. The most concerning thing was that all Brett although breakfast was served till 10 a.m. the manager virtually marched you out as soon as it turned to 10 am so those guests who have the audacity to turn up at 10 to 10 and very little time to serve themselves and eat their breakfast it did make for a very awkward experience.
The receptionists in the main were courteous and kind of one of them didn't appear to know the answer to any of our queries and it transpired he'd only been working for the hotel for about four or five months and he was unable to help with any queries and really blocks any requests that we were our friends had particularly when we wanted to change rooms when we first arrived.
In summary this hotel could be so much better those are a mixture of abilities within the within the staff and the premises we thought could be utilized far more effectively particularly with the the garden which was hardly ever used and was quite a spacious and we hope the hotel listens to this feedback and puts in appropriate training to improve things.

We stayed at Louis Leger Hotel with our school group, and our experience was fantastic! The staff was always ready to help, even though we often had questions. They treated us with great friendliness and care.

This hotel was excellent clean and practical. Enjoyed the stay. It was next to transport routes in and out of the city. Enjoyed the fact it was next to green space parks. There was a big supermarket to visit for any food requirements.

We loved the organic delicious breakfast! We could even order a packed lunch. The staff was very friendly and attentively accommodated all our needs which you would not find in top hotels. Great location, close to the metro station, easy to get to the center. Wonderful, helpful staff. Good value for the price. Stayed here for 3 nights and really impressed. Really comfortable (and big) bed, lovely large room, great shower and bathroom, and very effective AC. We flew in from Chicago and had the best first night sleep ever. The room was so dark and quiet we slept through breakfast. Great location. Awesome staff. The breakfast was amazing and immaculate. Overall a really lovely hotel. The breakfast is great with a large selection, the staff are attentive and kind, everything is clean, and we love the efforts for sustainability. For fellow tourists, this quarter of Lisbon is really lovely and local, however, it is a bit far from the points of interest of the city.

The location of this hotel is excellent, being 2 minutes and 10 minutes walk from Ternes and Argentine Metro stations respectively, and 10 minutes from the Arc de Triomphe. As for the hotel itself, it has a rustic decor and we were satisfied with the service so it was odd to see all the recent negative reviews on Google. The room was smaller than we expected albeit with a king-sized bed so the space for 2 suitcases was very limited. However it was clean, there was more than enough food available at breakfast although ideally there could have been more fresher fruit. The staff were pleasant and we were able to negotiate a slightly extended checkout time. Overall it's very reasonably priced for its location in a nice area, and it's got excellent travel connections.
