A very positive experience

I recently spent nine nights at this hotel. I am a regular guest, visiting the hotel every year. The rooms are clean and spacious. The location is quite good being close to public transport and with good parking on site. The beds are some of the most comfortable that weI recently spent nine nights at this hotel. The beds are some of the most comfortable that we have found.
The staff treat all guests with a smile. My wife and I had reason to organise a family lunch at the hotel for twenty people. I arranged the lunch with the restaurant manager Carole who organised the whole thing for us. The service and food/drink were great and our guests were very happy. I am aware that this type of event requires input from many staff members but I would like to single out Carole, Rabir and Iryna. Well done.
While our experience was positive we did experience service delays in the bar. My wife spoke to one lady, a guest at the hotel who had ordered her dinner which had not been served after waiting more than an hour. It appears that the bar is somewhat under staffed.
Finally as guests who spend a number of nights at the hotel has the hotel every given thought to installing a small fridge on rooms for long stay guests for that cold drink of water.

Brilliant hotel ,our room was very spacious and comfortable. Lovely vibe in the bar and the breakfast was unreal ,actually the best hotel breakfast we had 👌 the staff were all very pleasant a girl rheanne was so helpful during our stay anything we asked she accomodated for us 😊Brilliant hotel ,our room was very spacious and comfortable. Excellent stay in the hotel. Room was clean, well maintained and beds sooo comfortable!
Breakfast had plenty of choices and looked after very well by Carol.

Meeting rooms nice and bright and well equipt.
Carvey lunch tasted like a nice home dinner, great portion.
Hotel worked well for a business trip but had a nice friendly feeling that I’m sure would transfer to a leisure trip too.

We had a one night family stay with two young kids.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful with any queries and they really are a credit to the hotel.

All areas of the hotel and leisure centre were very clean and well maintained.
Very good value hotel with a great atmosphere.

Really enjoyed a wonderful stay in the Woodstock Hotel. The staff, food in the Shanaway bestro was devine, had the beef, it was exceptional and the cleanliness of the hotel was spectacular. From start to finish our stay here was wonderful. The moment we arrived we were welcomed by the manager, Oisín, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Stayed here for two nights in a family room on the ground floor. The room was spotless. Beds were comfy, plenty of towels for the three of us. Pool facilities were brilliant. We had a fantastic stay. Beautiful hotel. Fantastic staff. We booked our stay with Aoife, who was so helpful. As always Ciràn was great at reception, as were his wonderful colleagues. Returned for a relaxing stay in the luxurious and welcoming Brehon Hotel.
The very competent Boriana gave us a beautiful suite with a view of the mountains. We had a light meal and a few cocktails in the bar afterwards.
10/10 for service and ambience.

The Brehon Hotel and Spa was a highlight of our Ireland trip. The hotel is upscale yet welcoming. Service was superb. The room was well appointed with a lovely view. The spa is out of this world. Great personnel they have an eye for detail and very attentive.
I love that some of the food and drinks are served with edible flowers. It really gives the extra luxurious look.

We stayed in a superior room and when we arrived to our room there were chocolates and a bottle of wine. The location is ok, close to the city center. The hotel offers a free parking spot behind/next to the hotel. The room was good and so was the breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very friendly and helpful staff - Clare in front desk was great. Room was very clean and comfortable, the bed was fantastic. Had some issues with shower temperature but this was promptly sorted by front desk and the maintenance team. Very comfortable overnight stay and were checked in early by the efficient and welcoming guest team with no problems as room was ready . Sole downside in room 114 was directly above the bank if AC fans which ran all night and were audible if you are sensitive to noise but the room and hotel otherwise was quiet. Onsite car parking at £10 for 24 hrs was also very good and the location at the west end of Princess St was convenient and just outside the LEZ zone .

A good sized hotel well located for the Haymarket area and the western end of Princes Street, the check-in process was seamless and the staff seemed friendly enough. My room was a reasonable size as well as clean and tidy and was overlooking Morrison Link. I’d asked for a quietA good sized hotel well located for the Haymarket area and the western end of Princes Street, the check-in process was seamless and the staff seemed friendly enough. My room was a reasonable size as well as clean and tidy and was overlooking Morrison Link. I’d asked for a quiet room and was advised by the receptionist that there was building work ongoing opposite which could be noisy, and that they started work at 7:00am. That was fine by me, I was here for work and would be up by then, but if you’re looking for more of a lie-in it may not be suitable. As it was I didn’t hear any noise from inside or outside the hotel. The room facilities included an over bath shower, safe, iron and ironing board, tea/coffee making facilities and an (empty) ‘fridge. Complimentary bottled water and biscuits were also provided, although these were not replenished during my stay. A nice touch was a selection of Scottish produce that had been left in the room, including Irn Bru, a Tunnock’s Caramel log and some shortbread. Imagine my surprise and disappointment then when closer inspection of the shortbread revealed that it was actually from Slough! I’m really not sure what sort of message that’s trying to send, and it was very disappointing when I tried it. Walk down to Valvona & Crolla and get yourself some Crystal’s, that’s infinitely better.
Breakfast was a help yourself buffet and offered a good selection covering all bases including cold meat and cheese, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, pastries, hot and so on, although there perhaps wasn’t much depth to the various categories with only two yoghurts served from a large bowl for example. The cooked breakfast was pretty good, decent sausages, mushrooms, even some haggis, although the fried eggs were overcooked and solid. I appreciate it’s difficult to stop them cooking when they’re in a warming tray, but I had some freshly delivered from the kitchen and they were still solid.
Overall, decent enough and conveniently located, although is it worth £555 for two nights? I don’t think it was, that does seem excessive for what is ultimately a fairly standard, chain hotel.

Lovely hotel , we were made very welcome by the reception staff who went above and beyond for us . We were in room 466 . We booked the Dakota on a recommendation and we were not disappointed. Friendly service in a luxurious hotel. The room was stylish and cosy. The well stocked fridge was a treat . Had a fantastic stay right from the off we were given an upgraded room and complimentary drinks package.

Start with the smell of the room. Could not get enough of it. Bed super comfy and entire atmosphere is just so calming and lovely. Service top notch honestly.
