K29 was lovely BUT it is not a place I would recommend for older persons or if you want to relax in peace and quiet - the area is too noisy. Early morning/late night and during the night. I am not sure whether it was because of Easter

Beds might be a bit too soft for some but clean fresh linen, spacious bathroom and shower makes up for it. We had a kettle and microwave in our room which was A Big plus. Friendly, knowledgeable staff.

The welcome by friendly and helpful staff with a little welcome drink was my absolute favorite. Nothing was too much too ask.
Booked a single room and got an upgrade to double. Everything in the room was nice, clean and comfortable.

We arrived at K29 early and were greeted by a friendly receptionist who checked us in and offered us a nice cold lemonade whilst we waited a few minutes for our room to be ready. Our room was very clean with a good powerful shower in the bathroom. A kettle and cups were available in the small kitchenette, and the room was equipped with an iron and ironing board. Breakfast was good selection of cold meats, cheese, yogurt, fruits and cereals and pastries, plentiful and very enjoyable. You could take coffee and tea to use in the room. The hotel was a few minutes walk to the metro, and 10 to 15 minutes stroll to Syntagma Square, the Acropolis and all the restaurants, cafes and bars. Although some of the streets close to the hotel were the same as many large inner city areas, we never felt uncomfortable even at night. You just need to be aware as you would in any large city. Throughout our stay the staff could not have been more helpful, particularly Grandeleia and Theodora. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Athens.

First of all I want to thank the managment and all the staff of the K29 Athenaeum Hotel for which I consider one of the best accomodation which me and my wife have truly enjoyed. We stayed at the hotel for a total of 12 days and I truly say that the service and dedication provided by the staff was great. We surely enjoyed the breakfast on the 7th floor with a side to side verandah and a fanastic view of the acropolis etc. The brekfast itself was tasty and very delicious and fresh with lots of items to choose from. And a big thank you to the waitress and receptionist who served us always with that sincere smile which shows that the greeks are great at heart. Long time ago I worked on a cruise ship as musician with Epirotiki Lines, the best years of my life. Returning to Greece after so much years proved that these people remain sincere, hard working and they show great respect. The room we had was great, with a large size bathroom and kitchenette which served us to the utmost. It was always cleaned with clean towels, etc. Contrary to what others wrote, the area is completely safe, only during the night like other countries one has to take drastic measures to avoid some narrow side streets, due to the fact that Athens has alot of foreigners and drug abuse is visible in some areas. I slept only a few hours, especially in the last night because of continuos traffic noises. No double glazing or soundproof windows, even if the hotel is on one of the busiest streets in downtown Athens. Unbelievably noisy, I wouldn't stay at k29 again!

One of the best hotels we have been to would definitely be this. The friendly staff made us feel extremely welcome. The immaculate and spacious rooms had large, comfortable beds and excellent food for breakfast and also from their restaurant which all added up to make it an exceptional experience

The immaculate and spacious rooms had large, comfortable beds and excellent food for breakfast and also from their restaurant which all added up to make it an exceptional experience and a joy to be at the hotel also with it only being a 15 min drive from Fira( the capital city of Santorini). It was away from all the crowds but close enough to the attractions for a pleasant stay. It was also very close to a fine beach where you could also see the famous sunset debatably as well as you could from Oia( famous for its sunset). Overall this was an amazing accommodation to stay at and if we would come back to Santorini we would pick this hotel.

Amazing hospitality. Such a good host Mrs and Mr.Michelis are.
The rooms were so neat and clean and spacious. They made sure that we got a good breakfast and cleaned the rooms everyday. Replaced the towels and bedsheets whenever necessary.

Room was big enough to accommodate four of us. Best quality of mattresses and pillows and they did put proper single beds for kids unlike many hotels where they put sofa bed which are so uncomfortable to sleep on.
Pool is also so clean and good size for the swimming. We used the restaurant to order dinner. Grilled fish, grilled chicken were delicious and served with French fries that made a complete meal. My kids loved the food.
Rockey, the pet dog is also adorable. My kids loved to stroke him and he never barked at anyone.
15 minutes drive to Fira, and very close to Perissa beach. 5 minutes walk would bring you to the place from where you can watch the best sunset. No problem in parking the car. Ample parking space.
A complete package for the very good price that we paid.

I have traveled at least half way around the world and stayed at many places. The Villa Michalis is the absolute "BEST". The rooms are basic, but incredibly clean. The Restaraunt (Meroula) has incredible fresh food. Everynight there were people from other hotels eating there. tHE STAFF, is the best
I have traveled at least half way around the world and stayed at many places. The Villa Michalis is the absolute "BEST". The rooms are basic, but incredibly clean. The Restaraunt (Meroula) has incredible fresh food. Everynight there were people from other hotels eating there. tHE STAFF, is the best I have ever seen. Stavros, the owner and his Wife are the ultimate host. They do everything for you. THe location is 15 minutes from the tourist towns and right on the harbor for breathtaking sunsets. All this at a price that is way, way les than anywhere else. If you like a clean, simple room with a Fabolus Staff then this is the place.

This was our 2nd visit, our first back in 2016, and we were glad to see Michalis and Meroula were still there, with the addition of Stavros and the other members of staff they all made us feel so at home, the food is fantastic, and Michalis' beer is always cold.
It is a very relaxing atmosphere and is a great base to enjoy Santorini, but I would advise car rental, as the busses are not as frequent to the south of the island.
The pool is great and the grounds are well maintained.
Our room was always clean and we had a great view.
Will always recommend.

The receptionist Labrini is the most welcoming lady that gives positive energy every day and will do what it takes to make your stay the best. All other staff are the same with a lovely smile and friendly conversation.

The rooms are petite,but manageable,with lovely shower and fridge freezer. Cleaned beautifully everyday with fresh towels provided, without the need to ask.
The breakfast variety could be improved for vegetarians as mostly the same every day. However I would revisit in a heartbeat.
The pool area is gorgeous and views from the hotel magical.
About 5 minutes away is the lovely Ornos beach which provides everything you will need.
I can wait to come back again one day.

Where do I begin! We were greeted on arrival by the lovely lady Labrini, with open arms and a big genuine, welcoming smile and personality who is so so helpful and knowledgeable. The view from the hotel is incredible where you eat breakfast or have a few drinks and you can see the beautiful sunsets.
The rooms are lovely even if they are a bit smaller it adds more of a personal apartment feel.
The pool area is also gorgeous, nice size with a shallow and deep end too, not to mention having full exposure of the sun so you are guaranteed to have a beautiful tan!
Another star of the show is Joanna! A smiley, genuine, lovely girl who is always happy to greet you as you come in to ask about your day or help you with anything you need.
It’s lovely how the staff make you feel as one family together.
The location is also incredible only being 5 mins walk (2 small but steep hills to go up and down) from Ornos beach which has plenty of beach clubs/chairs to choose from or if you go all the way to the end there is little room to just fit your towel down and just in the sea, the sea is also so clear and clean.
Overall everything within this holiday from hotel, staff, location, has been 10/10 and i cannot wait to hopefully come back again!

Simply perfect! I would 100% recommend to anyone who are looking to go to Mykonos. We had no problem in finding our driver after getting off our flight. hotel is about 15 minute drive from airport which is perfect! from the moment we entered this hotel we felt at home and more importantly safe! We were welcomed by welcome drinks and smiley, kind faces. The receptionist was very helpful and gave us all the information we needed.
Our room was beautiful, very clean with a comfortable bed and pillows! fresh towels and bed sheets where changed everyday. The housekeeping cleaned the floor, tidied our belongings every day they were amazing!
Breakfast is limited but just what you want, food is available to purchase during the day which was lovely too!
Pool area was clean and quiet and they provide towels!
On our last day we had to check out at 11am and we was leaving at 6pm to get to the airport. We spent all day at the beach while we left our luggage with the staff and kept it safe. There is a room with two showers, towels and toiletries to use if you need. Enough room to get changed and feel private while getting changed before your flight. We loved this as we had all day to sunbathe and go in the sea etc knowing we could shower before we left as we couldn’t go back to our room.
there is a 10 minute bus to Mykonos town which costs €2 each way
The beach is a 5/10 minute walk from hotel with shops etc around.
It really is the perfect hotel!

Good Value Base in Ornos if you want a pool and sea view

We stayed in a Divine Seaview/pool view room 104 ( 101-103 while have a sea view also overlook the carpark and flat roof rather than pool). 104 had a great view and had a large terrace with deck chairs and table and chairs. It would be much better

It would be much better to replace the deck chairs with sun loungers , a wasted opportunity. Staff were friendly and did some of the best frappes we have had. We did not eat in the hotel other than breakfast. Rooms are clean and functional , Not wow but do the job well in white Mykonos minimalist style. We have stayed in different hotels in Mykonos and you can pay a lot more with more staff and more exotic decour or pay less with less amenities. You get what you pay for. If you want a hotel within a 5 minute walk of the beach with great view and a pool this is a good choice. Breakfast was a buffet and ok with hot and cold choices as you would expect , nothing wrong with it but not spectacular. Did love the Greek yogurt with honey , walnuts gojo berries and chai seeds so it was fine.
