Covering an immense stretch of glorious golden sands, the Costa del Sol became a popular holiday destination way back in the 1920s. Hollywood stars flocked to the buzzing seafront promenade of Torremolinos, and now the moviestar sandy beaches are the ideal spot for family breaks. We highly recommend a venture down to Los Álamos Beach, with it’s white sands and palm tree border. Be sure to stop at one of the many restaurants and bars for the regional favourite dish of Pescalto Frito (fried fish)! Over in the Andalusian town of Benalmádena you’ll find narrow streets and plazas, and a long coastline divided in to now less than 15 beaches. Why not visit the three watchtowers - Torre Bermeja, Torrequebrada and Torremuelle – or the church of Santo Domingo for a viewpoint across the Mediterranean sea. You can even go whale and dolphin watching, or visit the Sea Life Centre where you can walk through the transparent tunnels in the underwater park and see feeding demonstrations. No matter how you may choose to spend your days, we’re sure the hardest part will be tearing yourself away from your relaxing resort. Enjoy!
This holiday village is situated in Benalmadena Costa. It lies approximately 10 minutes away from Fuengirola by public transport, and is only 15 km from Málaga Airport.
