Naples, Italy
The volcanic island of Ischia is known for its thermal waters. There are plenty of beaches to be explored like the bustling Spiaggia della Chiaia with restaurants and water sports, to the more secluded Spiaggia di Cartaromana which is nestled amongst rocky terrain.
Head to the island's most visited monument, the Castello Aragonese d'Ischia. This castle is steeped in history that dates all the way back 474BC. It stands tall above the coast on a volcanic rocky island that connects to Ischia by a causeway.
If you fancy a spot of nature, then make your way up Mount Epomeo. It's the highest mountain on the island, plus lush greenery and vineyards occupy its slopes. Another great spot is Giardini Ravino - this botanical garden specialized in succulent plants and cacti.
This hotel is located in Porto d'Ischia. The nearest airport is Neapel (NAP).
