I travel for 12 day and 11 night business trips. Let me tell you, The Staff at THIS CLARION? They are the most attentive and hospitable I've encountered in 27 business trips!24 Hour Coffee always pleases me. The room was spacious. The bed was decently comfy. Continental Breakfast was good. This is one big hotel to with many guests. Breakfast was never lacking. There were 3 or 4 waffle makers so there was always a free one. I would open my Winslow to enjoy the SF air most nights. Due to being close to a train station, they asked me if I needed a room away from the noise? If I had one thing I want pleased with, it was that no maid service was done unless you stayed 14 + nights! I believe I could have requested it if I asked before 11:00am. Overall, I'll give them 5 Stars! Better than expected, but extremely disappointed in this city as a whole

I was really shocked at how run down this hotel was in the elevators and the doors and just the overall look but I was happy when I got in the room because the bed was so comfortable and the bath had hot water it had granite but trying to get a better room I left it and went and got a holiday in and I was shocked that I guess every hotel in this city is really trashy unless you get a five-star I really don't know what to say this city is so pathetic now I will never ever ever come here again. I am a travel blogger with 3 millions followers on instagram (vvicmcelroyy) I travel to San Francisco almost every months and choose to stay this hotel. This is my favorite hotel in San Francisco that convenient close to SFO, free breakfast, free shuttle to airport and Caltrain station next to hotel. The front desk so nice and kind with me except her. I choose to stay this hotel since 2023 I never see her before. she so rude. this is happened on 27 September 2025 at 4:20 pm, I was checking in. I just ask to stay at the building close to lobby because this hotel has many buildings and some buildings too far. The reason I ask for because I am a women travel alone and this hotel no security at night time. every times I came to check in with other front desk they have no problem and let me stay in the building I request. they always nice and kind but except this women. I never see her before. After I requested she upset and rude. I was very disappointed. If hotel manager can read this message. This woman make your hotel like 1 star But I still keep go to stay in your hotel in next time. But I afraid to see her again. She is a one bad things in your hotel. I love other front desk except her.

This is an “airport“ hotel where we stayed because of an early flight the following morning. Departing the hotel at 5:30 a.m., we had already checked our bags and gone through security before I realized that I had left my iPad hidden in the room - about 90 minutes later. I called the hotel immediately and the front desk clerk told me exactly how to proceed from that point forward, because I would be in the air for six hours and changing time zones before I could even attempt to arrange for shipment. From that point on, I followed her and others’ next-step phone instructions on how to have the item returned to me. Three days later, it was back in my possession on the opposite side of the country. Every person I dealt with at this hotel was professional, efficient, and effective. My stay at the hotel was so brief I cannot judge much else, except that upon check- in, a nice young man provided good dining information to us. Kudos to the management and staff here for your quick resolution of what could have been a huge problem for me. If flying out of SFO again, I will surely stay there again.

Front desk staff (Talua) is amazing. Great location, within 10 minute walk to restaurants and shops. Facilities a little shop worn but clean and comfortable. Will stay again when in the area.
