    Hidden Fees

    rating17 Jun 2026

We stayed at Disneys Swan hotel for 2 nights. We booked due to its proximity to Epcot and the Boardwalk. We paid in full when booking. When we arrived they asked for a credit card for resort fees. Normally when you pay upfront in full all fees are paid for at the time of booking. We were charged $50 per night plus taxes on both of those nights. We have stayed at many Disney hotel and love the free parking aspect. This hotel (as well as the Dolphin next door) charges for parking. I told the front next representative Disney properties offer complimentary parking as it states on the app. He informed me this hotel is owned by the Marriot not Disney so they charge $40 per night plus tax. This doesn’t make sense since this Disney hotel offers free shuttle busses and early entry so I’m not sure why the free parking wouldn’t apply. They never sent me an invoice at checkout so I had to email them to see why I was charged an additional $100 on top of the $197 ($50 x 2 nights $40 x 2 nights and $17 taxes and additional fees). I disputed the additional $100 with my credit card seeing there was no explanation on the invoice. $200 extra fees that were not disclosed when we had already spent over $500 is crazy. We wouldn’t not have booked here had we known it was going to cost us an additional $200 on top of what we prepaid. We will not be staying here again seeing Disney offers many cheaper hotels without hidden fees. I will say the hotel was very clean and smelled nice. It offers a variety of food options. However we have stayed at value Disney hotels which we feel offer the same atmosphere. Executive Office, Guest Services / Front Office at Walt Disney World Swan, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed our location, cleanliness, and dining options. We sincerely regret any frustration regarding the additional charges. Please note that our resort and parking fees are disclosed throughout the booking process, including during rate selection, in the confirmation email, and again at check-in.We appreciate your comments and will continue working to ensure all information is communicated as clearly as possible. We hope you might consider giving us another opportunity in the future.

    #disneyswan Old

    rating30 May 2026

Currently staying in room 744. Hotel is definitely Old and showing its age. Furniture is very well used and has not been replaced in quite some time. Bathroom has no fan and outdated light switches. Low ceilings in this hotel as well. When it rains middle pane of windows steam up leaving us unable to see out the window. Full TV Menu does not work…cannot access room folio or Disney channel. This hotel does offer transportation to parks, however from MK and Animal Kingdom we had to go to regular parking to get the bus and not where the other Disney buses were accessible. Leaving us with a much further walk when exiting the park. The one positive in our stay was the great housekeeping service. Overall very disappointed in this hotel. #disneyswan Executive Office, Guest Services / Front Office at Walt Disney World Swan, responded to this review Thank you for sharing your feedback from your current stay. Best stay ever at the Dolphin

    rating18 May 2026

Andres at the front desk made our trip so perfect. He mingled and joked with our family at check in —- but the #1 best thing he did was ask “what most important to you during your stay.” My daughter said the pool. Andres moved our room to a room on the bottom floor right next to the pool, like a 1 min walk to the pool with a patio. He could have just plopped us up in a room on level 20 like 15 min walk to the pool. This one decision by Andres made our trip perfect.Thank you Andres!!!

    Disney Magic at the Swan

    rating17 May 2026

As WDW annual passholders, my husband and I have stayed at nearly every Disney resort on property, but somehow we had never ventured over to the Swan/Dolphin. After deciding on a whim to take a quick overnight park-date trip, our usual go-to hotels were either fully booked or overpriced, so we decided to give the Swan a try. My only regret is that it took us so many years to do so.Everything about our stay was fantastic, and that is coming from two people who are admittedly pretty hard to please. The food and drinks, while a bit overpriced as expected, truly blew us away in both quality and flavor. Between the atmosphere, dining options, comfortable rooms and incredibly convenient location, the entire stay still felt full of Disney magic. And that’s before even mentioning the fantastic pool, which might just be the best pool of all the Disney-area properties. Yacht Club still has a slight edge for me because I’m a sucker for a lazy river, but the Swan/Dolphin pool area is seriously impressive. The only negatives we encountered were the high cost of overnight parking and our experience at Bourbon Steak. I understand the parking fees are in line with other Orlando-area hotels, but they are certainly not in line with Disney resort parking, which is free for hotel guests. As for Bourbon Steak, the service was so disappointing that we left before ordering. Our server in the bar seemed disinterested at best and told us that none of the cocktails on the bar menu were available because a new menu was rolling out the next day — and that we should just come back then. We left immediately, did not return, and do not plan to.That said, our overall stay at the Swan was wonderful. If the room rate is good enough to justify the added parking cost, we will absolutely be back.

    Great Renovated Rooms and Location

    rating08 May 2026

Stayed here for a long weekend and loved it. The newly updated rooms are wonderful and checked all my boxes. You get access to Crescent Lake, Epcot and Hollywood Studios for a fraction of the cost of the nearby deluxe resorts. Will stay again for sure!
