I was pleasantly impressed with the amenities at this resort style accommodation- multiple pools, restaurants, bars, coffee shop (serving Starbucks), & activities to include basketball, zip-lining, as well as kayaking on the lake. Although my visit was to take advantage of the numerous bike trails near this hotel- it was a good place to return to & relax. Clean, well appointed & friendly staff

Worst hotel ever

This has been the worst vacation we have ever been on as a family. We were not told that the hotel will be under construction. There is plastic sheets on our windows because they are currently painting. We had to get our breakfast through the construction zone. There was no hair dryer, toilet paper, or pool towels in our room upon arrival. Then our room key got turned off because they said we were supposed to check out today when our checkout is not until tomorrow. This has been terrible and I can't believe you actually put people in this hotel. There's also a giant hole in the ground at the pool by our unit and the gate is broken. Again.... Can't believe that you would put people in this hotel. Worse experience ever.

THEY HAD TO MOVE ME 3X DUE TO HAVING ROACHES IN THE ROOM AND THE PLUMING WAS HORRIBLE THE TOILETS WOULD NOT FLUSH. I WOULD NEVER GO BACK THERE EVEN IF IT WAS FREE!! THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY BUT WAS DIFFICULT TO TALK TO SUPERVISORS.

A terrible motel with an outrageous RESORT FEE!

There is a massive $30 per day ( including the day you leave??) Resort Fee that is not worth it at all. In addition, when I was booking my hotel at first, and called them to question what the additional fee was, they said it was a deposit. It wasn't! When we called them after, they were rude and hung up on us. The booking site did their best to refund me as well, since the prices mismatched.The fee is not worth it though, there is nothing resort like if you're staying at the Express Inn. They are your typical motel, but worse as:- They continuously call and bother and trick you about going to a scam of a timeshare. Even when I had expressed no several times, they woke me up with a call.- Offer no services that warrant it ( my room never got cleaned? )- They wouldn't even hold your luggage at the front desk.- You couldn't close the curtains ?- Half the plugs are straight up BROKEN!- No snack vending machines, because they want you to order their overpriced food.- Small TV / No Safe / Terrible free Wifi / 'Aracde' is 3 prize-grab type games with very outdated prizes / Gym was 2 machines in a very tight small room The clubhouse is nothing special, it is a pool with attached overpriced bar, and cafe I guess? It is a very large walk away from where the Express hotels are, that it shouldn't really count. I do not recommend it if you're disabled like me, and hoped to not drive on a holiday away. Not that it's worth even going there, it doesn't offer much else. There are the daily events, but you'll probably find nothing interesting to do, or have to pay even more.Some good:+The rooms were very spacious, and had connected rooms?+They have free mini-golf, the course is lame and boring, but could be fine+Breakfast was missing waffles, but was decent and even had sausage croissant sandwiches, which is rare for free breakfasts to offer any sort of meat.+ Incredibly close to other stores+ They do have a lake where you can rent vehicles, so you can't swim in it.+ Well maintained grounds & lovely wildlifeOverall though, spend the extra 30 a day you'd pay in resort fees and get somewhere good, or somewhere reliable. It completely ruined the last few days of my holiday.

Horrible! They suck!

Pros:Bedding was good.Cons:Flying from nj. Flight delayed. Had to call 5 times to ensure the reservation was still there. They dont even make a point to note it even when the guest is on the way. Do not give water even in bkfast area. Who does this?Black bananas and lemon color oranges.Only sausage, cream sandwiches. No options for vegetarian ??. Remaining sandwiches sold in the clubhouse coffee shop.No toothbrush available. Flush works very slowly. Very scary. Horrible water pressure in the bathroom. After presentation, gave 200$ credit. Shd be used only within the resort. So in short, they hv to make money. I hv to eat what they provide in the resort. Why dont you let me spend it wherever?Promised another 3 night, 4 day complimentary vac. Didnt give it at all.Last but not the least, they dont have basic medicine cabinet with advil or Tylenol. When i hv fever, they expect me to drive to 711 2 miles away.They suck! Suck! Suck!
