Very Good Pre-Cruise Stay

We stayed at this location for one evening before a cruise. The hotel is conveniently located near the Port of Miami. On this visit, the World Cup games were in progress and traffic was a nightmare. It took about 2 hours to drive the last half mile to the hotel. Once there, the property was beautiful and very well maintained. Jamaica greeted us with a warm, friendly smile and provided outstanding service. Even though the hotel was booked to near capacity, she was still able to upgrade us to a room on the top floor with a balcony, offering great views of downtown Miami and even the cruise terminal in the distance. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The only downside is the thermostat is restricted so that it can't be set below 65 degrees, which can make it difficult for old fat guys to breathe. Luckily, I brought a portable fan that kept me comfortable enough to sleep through the night. There are several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, as well as a Whole Foods for any last minute snacks. We were able to book this room with points making it an outstanding value. Parking is available on-site for a fee. They also offer a low cost shuttle to the cruise port for those who did not drive. The rooms are pretty well soundproofed since we did not hear any noise from our neighbors or the street below even with the hotel very busy. This was a great stay and we would definitely recommend this property. We will stay here again next time we sail out of Miami.

Great hotel. We were there for the World Cup came from Sarasota. Great hotel. Lots of other football supporters there. Had a great space in the lounge with free drinks etc. all day. Great space for pictures as well. Only issue was I left my wallet in the room while we went out to the game. I’m my wallet was a bank card that I never use. It’s a savings account. When I came home that night later at 1am a fraud charge came up for that account at a Hilton garden in. 5 mins away. Someone had to have came in the room and skimmed the card. There is no other way this could have been done as it’s a card that’s never used. And we are never in Miami. Disappointed you have staff that does that.

Dusty and Dirty

We thought we were safe because of the name of the hotel and expected the room to be above standards. It was not. It was disgusting and dirty. Fortunately, we only stayed one night. To be fair, it was located in a great spot and super convenient to other storefronts, but I wouldn’t want to Sleep there again. It was dusty, there was hair in the beds, a glob of hair on the floor, the bed was stained, the walls were dirty, hair in the fridge, hair on the walls, the couch was dirty and nothing was cleaned from previous tenants.

Great staff. Great pool and gym,great location for metro and walking to Bayfront Park and great places to eat like Hells Kitchen. Moved around Miami and this hasn't been our favourite though it's a great hotel, the beds are so hard it was hard to sleep well. The Bistro- enjoyed the evening meal but didn't like the breakfast at all. It was prepacked, reheated and oily and tasteless, yet the evening meal was enjoyable and tasty. There is a great Italian cafe in the Miami Tower a two minute walk. Pool and rooms and whole building is in a good state of repair and clean. We would recommend a stay here overall.

Convenience to the Cruiseport

Stayed here because its near the cruiseport. It was clean and fine. There is traffic noise but the air conditioning drowned it out. The food was expensive but fresh. There are lots of restaurants around. The shuttle service was the best and the convenience is why I'd go back. If you forgot anything, there is a CVS on the next block.
