AC worked POORLY!

I stayed at Circa this past week. I wanted to give the place a second chance. My previous experience wasn’t the best. I arrived early for check in and was given the opportunity to upgrade my room to a “Circa Suite”. I paid to upgrade and voiced my concern to the lady when I checked in that on my previous stay the air conditioning in my room didn’t function well. I hoped that my stay would be enjoyable, but again I was plagued with a room that only cooled to 77 degrees despite being set at the lowest temp of 64. I contacted the front desk and requested maintenance. They arrived to my room and “reset everything”. They were kind, but told me that this was a “known problem” and that many guests had also voiced similar concerns. They also instructed me that the hotel was on a boiler/chiller system. My concern was also that the AC system barely moved air in the room and the room felt “stuffy”. I received apologies, but wasn’t offered a fan or any other assistance. I was only told “other people have said the same thing you aren’t the only one to say this”. Another issue I had was my room was not really clean. The mirrors were dirty and I also noted that my bed had a bottom sheet, but didn’t have a top sheet. Rather, it only had a duvet. I thought this was weird. I had hoped this hotel would have attempted to accommodate me better. I really love the casino, but have not had the best experience on the hotel side of things. I am sure they will write a generic response. I would love to try this place again if they actually want to provide a quality experience. If not, I’d rather spend my money elsewhere. Hotel is really good with a really modern feel, however before anyone goes they should know that the hotel takes $100 per night from your card and resort fees(as expected) from your card before they even give you a key. We were over $1300 out of pocket before we even seen the room. We stayed here with the all in summer package. Absolutely loved this hotel. It is 21 and over and you have to check ID before entering. O wish they would give a bracelet or something to those staying so you didn't need your ID to enter entry time. That is the only con. We enjoy the circa every time we go. The beds are comfortable, rooms clean, bathroom huge with double sink, shower is AMAZING. we enjoyed a day at stadium swim which is an absolute gem. Amazing atmosphere to lounge or enjoy sports. This resort is always on our top list of places to stay. Noise and more noise and poor customer service from the front desk

Going along with some of the reviews posted. For all the business travelers and people that don't like noise, do not accept a room on a top floor right now. They are adding an addition on. I asked for a "quiet room". 38th floor and next to the pool is not quiet. And when you check someone in, tell them about the construction going on. I had no clue. I've stayed here many times, and know all about the pool and the "thump thump" music going on. That's why I stay on the quiet side. I have business calls, conferencing and work to do. I co-sponsor a conference here every other year and I'm thinking about talking to our partners and moving it. Also, if you say you are going to be at your room at 11am so you can move me, be on time. I had a conference call at 11:30am. I didn't have time to go downstairs to get new room keys because you didn't show. As a guest, "we got busy" is no excuse. If you can't make it by 11am, then give me the courtesy to call me and explain. As someone that has stayed at your hotel and co-hosts an event here, the front desk and front bar staff need some attention on customer service. Don't stare at me at the front bar and just walk away when there are no customers at all. Who is running the show here right now??? It doesn't matter if the bed is comfortable or if the room is nice when there is such loud bass reverberating into the wee hours of the morning. Sure... Vegas is for fun and partying but I don't understand why people enjoy music at ear-splitting levels.
