  Manager needs way more training in speaking with people. Terrible service. Good location and it stops there. I’ll pass next time. Sonesta is up the street and going there from now on.   Front desk staff is friendly, and the room itself was clean and modern. Breakfast was a standard Holiday Inn Express breakfast, though they did have a few things not working (ex; pancake machine). Location near public transit is convenient.The main issue here was the HVAC unit. The very basic control panel doesn’t have an option to constant run the fan- so I was constantly woken up by people talking outside, noise of water running through pipes, trains passing by, etc. Very simple oversight for the property to address.   Terrible Experience Trying to Book Room

  I tried to get information on booking a suite a week ago and the person who answered phone, Alfredo, was very rude. He first gave me pricing, and I said that it was out of my budget. He then proceeded to insist that I go ahead and book it because "What do you expect staying in Downtown?" When I inquired about the potential to plug in a hybrid vehicle, he just kept on insisting and asking if I am ready to book the room. After such rude customer service, I finally told him that he was being rude and not very good at customer service. He proceeded to ask me to book the room. After asking another question about the suites, he basically hung up on me. I tried calling back and was placed on hold for so long, even though it said there was a 3 minute delay on the recording. Called back later and the same major delay in anyone answering phone. I finally just gave up. I was very frustrated with my experience and will never book this hotel again. Hopefully, this gets passed along to the appropriate channels.   Good Day Stay hotel

  We did a day hotel stay after arriving early in the morning and leaving around 7pm for a concert. The lobby was small but nice, hallways were grimy and room was a little above average. It was nice to stay there for 8 hours while it was pouring rain. McDonald’s very close and a quick Uber anywhere.
