We stayed in here for a recent medical appointment -- the hotel / lodging was good, but the staff at the restaurant were standouts -- piping hot and delicious coffee, and quick and pleasant service. My stay at the Brookline Courtyard in Coolidge Corner was excellent. I loved my spacious junior suite overlooking Webster Street, and the bay window brought in beautiful light and made the room feel like a true home away from home. Sean and Gracie at the front desk were professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. The location is unbeatable, Coolidge Corner is my favorite Boston neighborhood, with plenty of great restaurants nearby, plus the convenience of the hotel café and complimentary breakfast. This was my second visit in 4 months, and I can’t recommend it enough. Loved our stay. What would make this hotel great is a better snack selection in the lobby. You have refrigerators - how about some protein-based snacks like salami/cheese/crackers? Stayed here 5 nights and at least two of those I needed something like this around midnight. Terrible experience and customer service

We were extremely disappointed when we arrived to the hotel on 3/14/26 and saw that it was under renovation.The biggest concern was that the off-gassing and odor were terribly strong. There were also boxes in the hallways and it made it difficult to navigate with luggage.We appreciate that the hotel wanted to do renovations, however we feel that they should have informed their guests prior to checking-in so that they had an opportunity to change their reservations, especially for those with chemical sensitivities.We expressed our concerns when we checked in but we were told that management can only waive parking fees (we did not use the parking garage) or offer some points to our account. We will not be staying here in the future. We plan on trying the hotel next door. Not Bad but not Great Either

Spent one night in late January. Driving up to the building there was a massive amount of construction materials scattered around. Never a good sign !! Driving into the garage it was tight and cluttered, also because of construction material. When we got to the front desk the rep said our room would be away from the construction. He was correct. But clearly the normal operation of the property was impacted by the ongoing work. Only one elevator worked. It was very slow servicing both the guests and the construction workers. You would think they'd make some accommodation because of the construction. Something simple, maybe complementary coffee, or free parking for guests. But no, $6.50 coffee, and $50.00 parking. Maybe even an extra employee at the food concession to handle added demand brought on by the construction workers coming to work in the morning. I spent 20 minutes trying to get a cup of coffee. That's simply unacceptable !!Beyond the poorly orchestrated construction efforts, my room was dark with NO lights near the desk, and no light in the shower. Additionally, we a had a hot water issue, and the tub did not drain quickly enough. I should not be ankle deep in water while taking a shower. Otherwise the room was clean and the staff was nice enough.
