Constantly Noisy with Cigarettes, Weed Odors & Dirty Water

I am writing this anonymously because I usually don't complain and I don't want to be contacted after this. My family stayed at the Quality Inn Marietta hotel for a few nights. We've been here several times. We came back. I'm disappointed with the way the hotel is being ran now. There is always a lot of slamming doors and loud bangs right above the first floor. Looks like the people on the second floor slams doors for fun. A fellow guest said they complained about it and nothing was done. So I didn't waste my time. I won't be returning because of this. It's a miracle that the doors haven't fallen off by now at this rate. I don't know if it's kids but you're almost as much as the Holiday Inn Express across the street these days and we expect better. I recommend you change your manager and staff if they can't handle getting the rest of us a little quiet time. My family and I won't be returning. Breakfast is the same every day--no new options. How can I "get my money's worth," if I can't even get a moment to think without loud banging above my head every few seconds? I figure everyone else is afraid to complain because it's probably african americans causing the noise. So like me, they don't want to be publicly branded as racist. I thought the cameras meant something but they apparently don't. The halls smell like cigarettes on one end and like weed on the other end. My kids had a whiff of that atrocity heading back to our room. There was no way to avoid it. Water looks like there were tiny pebbles of dirt in it. You can see it if you run some water in your sink and look closely. I heard that it's in the ice too. The hotel has fallen so far from what it was. It was the worst stay that I've ever had. Surprisingly Nice for a low cost hotel

My family booked this hotel last minute after Stone Mt Comfort Inn cancelled our reservation that had been made weeks prior. ?? Found this inexpensive hotel online while sitting in a parking lot late at night outside Atlanta, so we had low expectations. We also had our little dog with us, so finding a hotel that took pets was necessary. Quality Inn Marietta fit the bill! It was low priced, gladly accepted our pet, and offered a clean and comfortable room. The beds were firm and cozy with nice sheets and fluffy pillows. It had a clean smell. It was not a luxurious room, but adequately maintained with friendly staff. A free breakfast with cinnamon roll waffles, boiled eggs and great coffee nourished us after a good night sleep to get back on the road toward our Kentucky home! Happy to find this gem! You cannot forget the location - it's bad

This is a bad part of Marietta. Plus, it's next to a Budgetel hotel which is never a good sign. It would have been better if the hotel was fenced off. Filthy, dishonest, STAY AWAY.

I can not describe to you how bad this place was, but I will try. The entire building reeks of cigarette smoke. Our room was disgusting. There were stains on the blankets that could be scratched off, there were blood stains. There were stains that might have been blood, on the lampshades. The comforters were wet like they weren’t dried enough, and were full of holes and burns. The floor was so dirty it was sticky, and turned my daughters sock bottoms brown in the five minutes we were in there. It is outdated and nicotine stained, and unbelievably gross. We went back to the desk to tell them we couldn’t stay, and the man at the front desk, Zaid, didn’t even ask why. He told me he had refunded our money on his end but we would have to go through our booking agent to get it back since we didn’t pay him directly. Now they are refusing to refund me, claiming that we no-showed. I have videos of all of it. Avoid this place at all costs.
