  living out of a suitcase not ideal.

  wonderful location,great breakfasts , good evening menu , clean rooms, very comfortable bed, but one massive problem, if you are there for more than one or two nights, the lack of storage space means you will end up living out of your suitcase,there were no drawers in our room 624, and only the same hanging space you would find in a premier inn hub,it as my wife said was very likely designed by a man. The worst part is there was plenty of space to add storage it wasnt a small room.time for premier inns to rethink storage,lots of american tourists who all said the same thing,and who were there at same time as us.

  The room is old. The rug had a lot of stains. The windows were poorly maintained and the AC didn't do almost anything. The only positives were the bed and the staff.

  County Hall has always been our number 1 choice when visiting London, but unfortunately not anymore.The hotel is passed it's best, its very shabby and needs a complete refurbishment. Our room was too far away from the lifts and again was very shabby and needed refurbishment. I would have expected a lot better for the £250 cost.The staff however were excellent

  Check in was easy, they also have self kiosk in the front where you can check in and get your room keys. When we received our room keys and entered our room, we were greeted with a strong odor of cigarettes in the restroom. We also requested a non-smoking room. After a long flight, we wanted to take showers. The plumbing was not working. We asked maintenance to address it. He stated I will fix it tomorrow. We were only there for one night. Location was pretty nice close to all the attractions restaurants and public transportation. During the day our air-conditioning stopped working we were told that it was hot all day and that’s why it was warm in our room. However, during the night the air conditioning completely stopped working. We asked the manager to address this issue, possibly get us a fan. He stated we werethe only ones complaining. They waited approximately 30 minutes got us a fan. We were able to sleep the rest of the night mind you we woke up one in the morning. Overall I would say our stay was not a great first impression of London.
