Stayed pre-flight, perfect location for anyone travelling to or from Heathrow airport. Room has everything you need and amazing toiletries. Use of the executive room is a smart investment with great 24 hour food. We particularly enjoyed the food and service at Carluccio’s restaurant. All staff are friendly and attentive and we had perfect service from Sofia.

I am not impressed by this Marriott- although Marriott has been the only brand that has been consistent all over the world, this one seems to be off- not sure if it is the management or just an airport hotel.The service was not top, the rooms barely had what we used to find in all Marriott hotels. The coffee is horrible- we had to walk to Starbucks 20 min away to get a decent coffee. Breakfast not the best either.. bare minimum of options. The hair dryer was not working in the room and the room did not have universal plug- it only allowed British plug! It is clearly a transit hotel- yet I feel bad it carries the brand name- my husband is Embassador elite and did not have any water offered or anything. Bottom line- not coming back here!

As far as a Marriott goes it is average.

The Marriott hotel at Heathrow Airport in London was what I would consider as average. It is a very busy hotel which a very close to the airport BUT unfortunately there is NO COMPLIMENTARY SHUTTLE SERVICE to take advantage of. It appeared that people were checking in and out at all times of day. Being Titanium Elite and having called ahead for an early CHECK-IN [i.e. 11:30 am - no rooms were ready until 1:00 pm sadly. The staff were pleasant enough at the reception desk and we did have access to the Executive Lounge located on the main floor. This lounge was, again in my opinion, not very comfortable with respect to seating. Coffee, tea, soda and a few light snacks were available. The breakfast there was very well done even though we did not partake of it. The travel to the Airport [Terminal 5] to 15 minutes at a cost of about $36.00 U.S. for two people without large bags.The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also clean with appropriate amenities. Once accessing the elevator and getting to the right floor there is NO SIGNAGE OFF the evaluator as to which direction to turn. It can be confusing initially to find the room.The restaurant/bar was okay and we ordered a to-go chicken burger with fries and this was expensive [as apparently all food is in the UK].

Modern, clean hotel but no airport shuttle

We stayed in this hotel the night before flying out of Heathrow. The hotel was clean and modern and thankfully had AC! Our room was very bright and nice. We had good snacks in the executive lounge and they had full breakfast options. However there was no available (or free) shuttle to Heathrow, we had to call an Uber which took away the convenience of staying there. Next time we would just stay in the city and take a black cab directly to the airport.
