Friendly staff and a good deal

I walked in at nearly midnight after leaving my airport voucher hotel which didnt have working A/C on an unusally hot night. Billy at the front desk was able to match my frenzied energy with humor and got me all set up and helped track down the basics (toothbrush, etc) I needed as a stranded passenger. Room was spacious for the price and had a bathtub (!) and working black out curtains. Maybe no one was in the rooms next to me but I heard no one and slept great. I will say the bed was quite firm but I like a firm bed, some might find it too hard. Excellent on many levels!

Staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Checkin and checkout easy. Beds were very comfortable, wonderful shower and accommodation roomy. Overall cleanliness was very good although bathroom counters need replacement and hallway carpets need thorough cleaning. The latter did not affect our comfort. What was exceptional was the food. Considering all our meals were comp’d by the airline and buffet style, it was abundantly clear that great care was taken by kitchen staff to ensure the food had a lot of variety and was always fresh and delicious. We were very impressed! Great for the Heathrow airport

Stayed for two separate stays on this trip. Stayed in a runway view room which as the name suggests looks towards Heathrow Airport. The room was spacious, well appointed and well equipped. The restaurant was clean and tidy and the service was good. The food was OK but no Michelin star coming soon and a bit over priced for what it was. Breakfast in the hotel was fine a slight queue to be seated but staff helpful and breakfast is very busy. Car hire avaiable in the hotel with shuttle buses from the hotel to the car hire lots. A free phone on the concierge desks allows you ti summon a car/taxi company which offer a quick service to the airport. Disappointing - Gone Downhill since our last visit

Hotel is ideally located; we booked parking with our stay for the convenience so that was all good. Now the bad part, on check in my card was double charged due to a problem at their end, they also failed to recognise my IHG member status. Room was just ok, fridge door was hanging off, bathroom good. Bed was really uncomfortable so we didn’t sleep much either.Paid for breakfast and were given a voucher so went down the next day and was told someone had already used our room no/voucher how when we physically had a voucher? Eventually told to sit down; breakfast selection was pretty poor compared to 6 months ago. Check in staff were apologetic but the basics are lacking.6 months ago our stay was great, would we go back next time? Probably not as there were too many basic problems. Exceptional service.

The booking experience was exceptional, and both the check-in and check-out processes exemplified outstanding customer service. While I regret not recalling the name of the check-in attendant, her service was truly exemplary. The parking fees at this location are quite high; it would be beneficial if parking were complimentary for residents, consistent with the policy at other Holiday Inn establishments. Having previously stayed here, I can attest to a consistently positive experience. Consequently, I will exclusively choose this establishment for future travels originating from Heathrow. It was clean comfortable and service is amazing. Great team.
