    After a brutal 12‑hour flight from LA and more than 20 hours awake, I showed up at the hotel way too early to check in and totally exhausted. The staff immediately took care of me. The woman at the front desk was super kind and looked into finding me a room. While she worked on it, she set me up in the lounge. I decided to geab breakfast, and Simona and Osainatu were absolute gems. They kept the food and coffee coming, checked on me a bunch, and Osainatu introduced me to Weetabix with honey, which somehow felt like the exact comfort I needed.Even the luggage team was thoughtful. Yuri noticed how tired I was and suggested I take a photo of my claim ticket so I wouldn’t lose it. Simple, smart, and genuinely kind.It’s rare to feel that looked after when you’re running on fumes, but Yuri, Simona, Osainatu, and the whole team turned a rough travel day into something surprisingly comforting.This is our third year staying at this DoubleTree. My team of five comes to London every fall for two weeks. We originally picked this place for the rooftop bar, but we keep coming back because of the service (especially the breakfast crew). The vibe and the consistent care make it feel like our home base.

    The hotel itself is very average, not really 4* in my opinion. Plastic stuck to the bedsheet is not ideal. On the day we checked out, my friend politely asked to leave our bags with concierge and the dark haired man with a ponytail could not have been more rude and dismissive. My friend pardoned herself to which he replied “if you say good afternoon first i will maybe help you”, my friend apologised even though she did not need to, whilst this concierge continued to give us rude and dirty looks for the remainder of the day. I work in hospitality myself so I know there is no need for this attitude, especially as we had been polite and friendly! On a positive note, Tanya the receptionist was fabulous in accommodating our early check in even though she was extremely busy- thank you Tanya!

    The hotel was great overall when you look at the service and hygiene, also the staff is respectful and attentive. A guy named shean helped me so much about every problem I really liked that behavior so shoutout to him.

    Mediocre hotel. Check in was crowded. Restaurant was crowded and quite frankly had an odd smell. Room was clean and TV was great.

    Wonderful breakfast selection and such friendly staff. Faizan and Emil were so nice and helpful. Very pleasant experience.
