I had a booking from 26-30th December.I checked out at 5:45pm on the 27th due to the following issues:1. Noise from neighbors - the room has no noise cancellation and it felt like I was living with them. Downstairs reception did nothing to resolve this even after I contacted them yesterday. They said they would tell them but nothing happened. The noise carried on until around 11pm, so I had to sleep when they slept. That's inappropriate as I sleep at 9pm.2. The bar fridge isnt a fridge and doesn't cool down anything. I asked reception to do something about this and they did nothing. I phoned again and a couple hours later (9:44pm) they came to my door.3. Steam room and sauna are broken. I came to this hotel to relax, study my masters, gym and make use of the swimming pool, gym and sauna. Why are they broken and why am I paying for something thats broken? Additionally, the pool is closed from 12-2pm for ladies (I get that) but also from 2-3pm for lunch??? Makes no sense. I'm paying for this service as advertised on your website and booking.com...4. Reading lights are broken so how can I read in bed). I'm paying for this service as advertised on your website and booking.com...again.5. The room smells like cigarettes. I dont smoke and I couldn't sleep as someone (I'm assuming the neighbors) were smoking and the smoke came through that door that separates us physically. I'm highly disappointed as your reviews online weren't that bad. Maybe I got the unlucky room but still, it was emotionally frustrating and draining. I'm in contact with booking.com for a refund. A good place for a non-fancy stay at reasonable prices

We spent in total 8 nights in the Executive King room which is a bit like a suite. You have a separate bedroom with ensuite bathroom, a living room with a 'fake' kitchen and a small guest toilet. Why is the kitchen "fake' as it has a sink, a set of cabinets a microwave, a kettle and a fridge. But.. no cutlery or plates whatsover- let alone a cooker. But OK- it was not advertised as an apartment but a suite. No complaints here. In general it is a 3 star hotel so such should be your expectations. The room could do with some renovation but it is clean and spacious. What lacks is the attention to detail. E.g. in both suites we stayed the kettles didn't work. Ok they replaced them the same day but still. Also in a small guest toilet, when you have washbasin a small hand towel would not hurt. Also one day we got the towel which had large holes in it. Again, they replaced it within minutes. So the service is good but the management could get someone more detail oriented to make a better impression. The location is OK- a bit noisy from the streets but bearable. Breakfast is rather basic but fresh and still it's a 3 star hotel where the price justifies the quality. All in all, I can recommend this place based on a few day stay in an Executive King room (or suite). Exceptional Service at Time Express Hotel SharjahI recently stayed at Time Express Hotel Sharjah and was truly impressed with the level of customer service, especially from Solomon. From check-in to check-out, Solomon went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. He was always friendly, professional, and quick to help with any request, whether it was information, assistance, or just a warm greeting after a long day.It’s also clear that great service is a standard at this hotel, not just from one person. All the staff I interacted with were excellent – polite, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. Their teamwork and positive attitude created a welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay.Thank you to Solomon and the entire team at Time Express Hotel Sharjah for a wonderful experience. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to others and look forward to staying again.
