    Second visit, and a year on even better

    So after our visit last year we simply had to head back to the Grand Mercure, and we were not disappointed. Great to be welcomed by the happy staff, so many recalled us from our stay last year.Thanks to the efficient Ben and Prince for making sure our check in and preferences were noted in advance and made things a breeze.Under GM Paul we’ve noticed the benefits for Accor Platinum/Diamond members have been tweaked for the better. I know I’m bound to forget someone and for that I apologise in advance.Breakfasts were the highlight of the day, and what a great team in the Patio. So happy to see the same smiling chefs like Nut and Marwin make sure the place runs like clockwork (with the best Thai omlettes OMG)Pam and Oh are superstars.Shoutout to other wait staff - Farah, Oil, Tao, Dew, Amp, Honey, Jink, YoonieGreat to see Tao again in the Pool Bar who looked after us as always.The Green Mango Food and staff were top notch. The Seafood Platter is a must.I enjoyed Aqua Exercise every morning and another shout out to the Activities Team who made it fun.Lastly almost forgot the housekeeping crew, always pleasant, attentive and unobtrusive, thanks for Feen and colleagues.Look forward to next year.     We had a wonderful holiday here. Its completely away from the hustle bustle and the property is a green lush haven. The staff go out of their way to make ur stay wonderful.
