Stayed 3 nights with my wife on a business trip.Main reason for staying here was proximity to my convention venue.Not a large hotel but by the same token it was not crowded, either.Overall Verdict - Good value. Would stay here again.Pros -Good Location. Near BTS station. Within a short car ride of a lot of major malls and destinations. Right across the street from the swanky Embassy mall.Spa located inside the hotel. Rates are decent for the location. Book ahead.Breakfast comes with stay at an affordable price. Buffet was varied and wouldnt bore you for 3 days. Not spectacular but gets the basics down. 3.5 stars.Service Staff is typical Thai hospitality. Few people do it better. Housekeeping was responsive and Concierge/Doormen were helpful.Bed was very comfortable. Room was decent sized with some nice asian touches. Bathroom had both shower stall and bathtub along with Japanese style bidet. Did not make use of pool or gym but while they were small-ish they looked attractive.No worries with air conditioning, hot water or noise (room was end of the hall).Room had a decent fridge with a selection of complimentary drinks and bottled water that they replenished daily.Cons -Bit of a walk to nearest convenience store.Room flooring felt a little basic (maybe it was carpet before they converted it to tile?) Overall the hotel is a very good value for the money spent. You honestly cant beat the location right off of sukhumvit. Close tonparty area but far enough away to not be bothered by it all. As for the hotel itself, You get good size rooms, nice furnishings, mini bar, etc. One of the better ideas they had was to put a microwave in the room. I always end up with some type of leftovers from eating so its nice to be able to enjoy them when i want again. The bathrooms are nice, though a tad bit smaller. It was tight with 2 people in the shower (short and athletic builds), so im sure it would be an issue for bigger people. They have a bidet so no need to worry about that. The atmosphere here is relaxed and easy going, and the staff is very attentive. My favorite thing though is the inclusion of small experiences for guests. I got to sign up for an ice bath session which they have every sunday at the pool. The guys running it are amazing, kind, generous, and very attentive. They made sure we were ok through the experience and after as well. I commend their efforts and would recommend anyone to them. Excellent stay at Grande Centre Point Ploenchit. The location is perfect for getting around Bangkok, and the hotel has a comfortable condo-style feel. The room was spacious, clean, and very practical, with plenty of space to relax. Breakfast was good, and having Let’s Relax Spa nearby made the stay even better. Great choice for both short and longer stays. Highly recommended.
