    A lovely oasis of old world charm...That's Grand Hyatt Erawan BKK. Seamlessly processed check-in, which alone gave it 5 stars, because after a long flight one doesn't want to be stuck with check in procedures. Room was very clean..a very comfortable mattress, excellent location..we walked almost everywhere we wanted to go. Amazing staff, so kind, so thoughtful! The breakfast spread was very nice, the chef of Indian origin was more than happy to serve up a menu from the homeland, loved that! Cannot complain...would definitely stay here again...but just wish the rooms would be a little modern...they also have the old world charm vibe going...would recommend Erawan.

    The Grand Hyatt is conveniently located within walking distance to a BTS station and several malls (it was great to walk to Siam Paragon!)The facilities are decent with a grand lobby, well equipped gym, and pool. Breakfast has a good selection from made to order eggs, Chinese dishes, Indian dishes, many fresh pastries and mango sticky rice.What stands out is the service. I hadn't visited in a few years and the staff commented on this and welcomed me back. When I mentioned we were celebrating a birthday soon, the club manager sent for a cake to be delivered to our room right away. These little touches gave me a great impression and would lead me to return again.     Room was upgraded to better view on higher floor with connecting unit. Club access food and breakfast buffet were amazing. Staffs and chef at the restaurant were very sincere. Location of the hotel is absolutely fantastic right in the middle of everything in the downtown. Very close to the double deck red bus station and next to the Centralworld shopping mall.
