NEVER STAY HERE! AWFUL HOTEL

Location is really nice, walking distance to Platinum Mall. But the service is very bad. If you’re bringing wholesale items they won’t even allow you to borrow their cart to bring it up. There’s a 10 baht charge per 1kg. Which is absolutely absurd. In all hotels we have stayed at this is the only which with such a rule. We had many duffel bags which were quite heavy and we only asked to borrow their cart not even their concierge but they said it’s not allowed and need to pay the fine. At first they wouldn’t even allow us to bring up our duffel bags which is the most stupid thing. Why does this hotel get a say or want to control that I want to safe keep my bags in my room??We explained that we need to bring it up because we are bringing it home with us on the plane. Dont ever stay here. The room condition is bad, the staff are unfriendly despite the reputation of Thai people being hospitable, and they have the craziest rules that really shouldn’t apply in the first place. Stay away!!!

The hotel room looks like a service apartment converted into a hotel, a lookalike like Centrepoint Pratunam It is situated just next to Platinum Mall, so it's really convenient for impulsive shopping. Just a short distance away, you can find Big C and Central World. Across the street on Petchaburi Soi 15, you will be spoilt for choice to get a massage for 200 baht before 7pm. You can find no less than 12 different massage places along this whole lane and boutique/budget hotels as well.

Horrid hotel - disgustingly dirty

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Grand Diamond Suites Hotel in Bangkok. It is advertised as a 4-star hotel, but the condition of the rooms was nowhere near that standard.The first room we were given was frankly disgusting. The carpet was heavily stained and looked very dirty, and the sofa was also covered in stains. The whole room felt very old-fashioned, dated, and generally unclean. While the decor in the photos is somewhat accurate in terms of style, the pictures do not show the actual condition of the room.To their credit, the staff offered to change our room immediately and without any fuss, which suggested they were aware of the issue. Unfortunately, the second room wasn’t much better. Although it didn’t have carpet, it still felt dirty and the sofa was again stained and patchy, which was very off-putting.In the end, the cleanliness and overall condition made us uncomfortable enough that we decided not to stay and moved to another hotel immediately.Based on my experience, this property is definitely not a 4-star hotel. The condition and cleanliness of the rooms were far below what you would expect at that level.

Location is perfect even though there's MRT construction site right infront (but the noise level was minimum), comfortable beds, hot shower, breakfast was plentiful, the views of Pratunam are spectacular, and the staff at the reception, especially receptionist K. Chamling.The only thing is that even though there is a kitchenette in our Junior Suite, there are no plates or cutlery provided.
