    Ideal for a nights stopOver, very clean hotel and large rooms. A good restaurant on site with good food and prices. Friendly helpful staff too. They run a shuttle service to and from the airport for 100 baht each way(£2.50). The room was basic, one bath towel and one pillow each, but comfortable too. Also a swimming pool if needed.

    Positives -+ Quiet rooms+ Clean+ Spacious+ Aircon works well+ Good, comfortable bed linen, pillows, mattress. + Convenient night food market, Lotus, 7Elevens (2)Negatives1. NO small coffee table & 2 chairs we can sit at to eat food (see pic)2. Phone charging point is not in easy reach when lying on bed & needing to charge phone. The wall switch is far from the bed.2. TOILET & BATH. See several pics attached.Repairs/Maintenance are done cheaply and poorly. Example 1 : Small toilet seat fitted to large toilet bowl. Example 2 : The BIDET SPRAYER used after visiting the toilet is very difficult to manage as the rubber tube is hard, course and does not flexibly bend. You struggle to get it in place so as to wash because the rubber tube is so hard & inflexible. Its a cheap replacement done when repairing.Example 3 : SAME WITH THE SHOWER. A cheap rubber tube runs from the hot water geyser. The tube is far TOO SHORT to shower comfortably. You bend your body this way and that way as the tube is short. This is an example of trying to save on repairs/maintenance and ending up with a very bad customer experience. 3. NO SHOWER HOT WATER: The geyser for showering provides cold to tepid (mildly warm) water. NO HOT WATER. Golden Foyer needs to pay better attention to the repairs/maintenance work done in the showers & toilets. Cheap is not always correct or customer friendly and leaves the shower, toilet areas needing work to correct these badly done repairs.Being able to wash comfortably after using toilet or in shower is important. Having hot water is important. These are basic needs no matter 1 Star or 5 Star !Clearly the owners of this hotel do not expect people to stay more than 1 or 2 nights as the standard rooms are nice but sparsely furnished.Each morning a bag is left on your door handle containing 2 waters, 1 toilet roll, coffee, sugar. Room cleaning happens on request. Check in: This is at 2 p.m. Arrive at 12.30 p.m and your told the room will be provided at 2 p.m. Not all rooms were full as I learned. 2 p.m entry is hotel policy low season or high season, full or not full !! Unlike many other hotels I've stayed at - arriving sometimes at 11 a.m - who waive the 2 p.m check in and immediately let you have a room, Golden Foyer shows no such niceness. 1.30 p.m is the earliest they allow....no matter empty or full.Whilst waiting in the foyer I asked for a glass of water and was told I could buy water at the restaurant. If people are left waiting for the 2 p m "school bell to ring" at least be polite enough to offer a glass of water. Golden Foyer is an average hotel. Not a bad place but needing improvement as explained above and in pics.

    We had a short stay at this hotel, arrived in the evening and left the next morning. Checkin was quick. Room is spacious and clean. Diner was really good and also good price. Breakfast was ok, nothing special, but sufficient. On arrival we literally just missed the shuttle bus and were told it could take an hour. So we decided to take a taxi (200baht +50 baht toll).

    We have stayed at this hotel by the airport 6 different times and highly recommend it. The rooms are spacious, comfortable bed , tooth brush and all the other amenities. Breakfast is good and the restaurant has nice food NOT over priced. The shuttle is hourly at 200 baht or taxi 250 baht. Markets are in front of the hotel every night and three 7elevens close. Recommend this hotel.
