    OK location & Bfast, Housekeeping can be better

    Overall 3.5/5: Location is ok, short walk from Kriens station which is 2 stops from Lucerne central train station (15mins frequency train). Mt Pilatus cable car station is short bus ride (16 &21) away. Bfast was ok. Hotel provides free bus/train Lucerne visitor pass. Thr are some restaurants arnd. Room size is decent but small annoyances like bathroom door keeps swinging close, toilet paper holder came off (could put back in), flush button seemed flimsy. For a new hotel not great furnishing. Housekeeping wasn’t great. Sofa bed mattress was missing which they added after we mentioned post checkin. Next morning we found soap/shampoo bottles empty. Spotted housekeeping staff outside who gave us a soap bottle. Told them to replace body lotion when they clean but they didn’t. These things are standard and shd be checked before guests checkin. No major issue per se just not smooth.

    The hotel is quite far away from citycentre in an area which houses a lot of automobile showrooms and factories.You can reach the HBF train station by bus 14 that is opposite the hotel.The train station is close by so also a Migros supermarket.The room given to us had fixed window blinds that made us feel like we were in a jail and the ouside view was overlooking mercedes benz car parking lot.There were no coffee/ tea cups only disposable paper glasses.No mini fridge in the room.A sofa bed was provided for third person making the room very cramped with no space to move .Bathroom. showerhead's water pressure is weak. The hotel gives a local transport card.It is patronised by huge tour groups which causes the breakfast time to be crowded.     Excellent Stay for Visit to Luzern

    We had a very nice stay at this hotel for our visit to Luzern. Our rooms were modestly sized but bright, clean, modern-looking, and had all the amenities we expected. The lobby was spacious and inviting and the breakfast area was roomy and inviting. The complimentary breakfast buffet was above our expectations. The buffet area was well presented with many hot choices to choose from. The staff we encountered were all friendly and accommodating. The hotel is located in a quiet area in Kriens. It was adjacent to a train station that is a short ride to the main station in central Luzern. As a guest of the hotel, you will get a pass for your stay to take the trains and buses in central Luzern for free. Near the hotel, there was a grocery store and several restaurants. Underground parking is available for a fee, though you will need to check in first to get the garage’s keycard. You will be asked for a cash deposit to return that keycard. However, with the keycard you can enter and exit the garage anytime. There were only a limited number of spaces in the garage for the hotel; I would recommend inquiring about reserving a parking spot during busier times. One note, the hotel is cashless, so we could not get change from bills to coins.

    We arrived late afternoon and subjected to a wait then VERY painful check-in procedure which was the last we needed after a long days driving a classic car! Check out was quicker but still elongated........ genuinley poor customer experience.Ontop of the £190 for the room we were charged £25 parking in their own car park. The only plus part was its underground and fairly secure. I pretty much think this was the most expensive night covering France, Switzerland and Italy we had in 7 nights.Due to an early start we had a breakfast basket, an egg with fruit was managed but no cereal.
