Location

The hotel is located in the heart of Madrid, in the Triangle of Art, which is home to the most visited museums in the capital. The hotel is strategically located, 600 m from Atocha train station and there are numerous restaurants and bars nearby. Puerta del Sol is some 850 m away and Plaza Mayor is also about 850 m away.

Facility

138 rooms, including suites, 6 single rooms and 131 double rooms, are located on 7 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Services such as a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities.     We stayed at the Casa in Madrid for 5 nights. A beautiful building with nice interior design. Fantastic breakfast in an amazing art deco dining room. Eggs made to order. Avocado toast. Spanish potato frittata. Poached eggs with hollandiase sauce. Oatmeal. Plus a full buffet with meats cheeses pastries homemade cakes fresh carrot juice. Excellent coffee. The room was very quiet and dark. Shower had great water pressure. Bed and pillows super comfy! Everything new and clean. They delivered chocolates and bottled water to our room the first night! Classy! Close walking distance to all the tourist sites. Staff was helpful and very friendly.

    Not what I expected from Meliá collection

    Positive:The staff were amazing. They remembered where we sat the previous day for breakfast and even recalled what we had ordered. All the toiletries were from CARNER BARCELONA, which I absolutely loved.Negative:The breakfast buffet was quite small. Although you could order à la carte, the quality of the food wasn’t particularly impressive.There was a pool, but it was located right next to the reception area, and the glass wasn’t tinted. This meant that everyone walking by on their way to their rooms could see you in your swimsuit, which felt very uncomfortable.We stayed in a superior deluxe room on the top floor of the building, but the room was still very small—only 15 square meters. The bathroom was outdated and so cramped that it couldn’t even fit a sink; instead, the sink was placed next to the bed in the bedroom.     By far, one of the best hotels I have been in Madrid. It was just opened at the time we had our reservation. They were new but professional. We enjoyed a lot being there for a few days. The breakfast, oh my God, was amazing. My son loved it. He could not wait for the next day's breakfast. The ambiance was artistic. Our room was very special with a glass shower in the middle. So romantic. Plus the location is close to the Atocha Station and Retio Park. I miss the mornings when I went running from he hotel to Retio Park and came back for the delicious breakfast. Enjoy it.
