  bad attitude and disrespect towards the customer

  I am extremely disappointed with the way this hotel handled my reservation issue. Although I acknowledged my booking mistake from the beginning, the hotel showed absolutely no flexibility, goodwill, or customer care.Despite the fact that the room was never used and I remained a customer of the Cordial group during the same period, the hotel refused any form of partial refund or future stay credit. Communication was slow, impersonal, and limited to repeating the cancellation policy without any real attempt to resolve the matter fairly.As a loyal traveler, I expected professionalism, understanding, and at least some consideration of the circumstances. Unfortunately, my experience with this hotel has been very negative, and I cannot recommend their customer service based on how this situation was handled.

  Didn’t really live up to expectations… the room was very small.. the bathroom had a squeaky glass door so not much privacy. Unfortunately our room 33 was under the bar and there was no sound proofing at all… the bar had only just opened but we heard it all day as they set it up. The pool on the upper terrace was tiny and cold and was basically just a bird bath… lots of birds drinking and going in!! I guess if it had been cheap we wouldn’t have minded but it was expensive for what we got… room only. It overlooks a derelict building. On a positive the road the hotel is on is quiet at night and it’s in a great position to see la Vegueta which was a wonderful small Spanish town. The staff were lovely and the bed was reasonably comfy.   This is a very nice place ton relax. Views to the cathedral are amazing and its the perfect place to rest and chill. Either with couple or on your own this hotel offers a quality service. Breaksfast are very nice and according to the prices its better than having your early meal outside. a nice breakfast before you go and paint the town read.   Very unfriendly service!

  We visited Vegueta on a cruise and saw this beautiful hotel that we thought we might like to revisit and stay for a few days. We went up to the roof terrace and it was spectacular - however the waiter then ruined the whole experience - he obviously did not want to serve us and was extremely dismissive.   Disappointing stay at Cordial La Niña de Vegueta

  Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel severely impacted what should have been a joyful honeymoon. We encountered several major issues that made our experience distressing from the start. • Upon arrival, we noticed a foul odor in our room, which persisted despite our request for cleaning. It turned out the smell was coming from the toilet sewers, making our stay uncomfortable. • The worst incident happened in the dining area, where a horrendous smell from the kitchen made me physically ill. When I checked the kitchen, I found it in a shocking state, with rotten food left out and pans with decaying food on the stovetop.This entire experience has been extremely disappointing and ruined what should have been a special trip for us. I hope the management addresses these issues promptly to prevent future guests from enduring the same.
