  Terrible resort. Reception closed on arrival Saturday 1900.Tiles missing in shower, floor warped in bathroom. Torn blind in kitchen. Flood in lounge area after rain!!

  Lovely bungalows but be mindful where you leave valuables as spate of breakins during the night

  Have stayed in this complex and never had any problems. This year had an attempted break in during the night. Only it was so windy and the window blind was rattling we were saved from theft. Our neighbours on the other hand were not so lucky. They came INTO their bedroom in the middle of the night and took money, iPods etc. police not interested. Just don’t leave anything out. At night the complex itself has absolutely NO lighting around the grounds and the pathways are very uneven/broken. I know break-ins happen everywhere but coming into bedroom while asleep is a whole other scary matter. Speaking to people it seems to be quite common at this complex of late. I will return there as it’s a great location, huge pools and the refurbished bungalows are fine but think i will be travelling with small door/window alarms! 🤣Just be mindful where you leave your valuables!!

  DO NOT BOOK TO STAY HERE We got Broken lnto

  DO NOT STAY HERE we were broken into on the first night. Luckily lm a light sleeper as l heard a noise 3 o'clock in the morning to find someone climbing through our kitchen window no one seemed surprised lady in zanibar said it was rife in the area at the moment. We believe the cleaners are leaving windows opened after they've been in as there was another couple on the same night that got broken into as well the whole place seemed dodgy an the bungalows are not the cleanest either so please think twice about booking these bungalows.

  This apartment is the worse place we have ever stayed. The rooms are dated, tatty and not very clean, the sofa was so dirty they had to put blankets on it so we could sit down. The only saving grace was the pool area which was clean and well maintained and the bed which was comfortable with clean bedding. The kettle was rusty! Some of the apartments had been renovated but a lot haven’t. We were offered another apartment when we complained but it was worse and smaller. The reception staff and cleaners were polite and friendly.Lighting very poor in all rooms except bathroom. Dark dingy furniture. Only room that appeared clean was the bedroom.Bars nearby but they were a bit basic. 15-20 minute walk to better bars and restaurants, great choice there.Steps a bit dodgy as lighting poor.Planes are really low and loud, couldn’t hear others talk when they were overhead.

  Great base, car hire is a must if you want to get around

  Not quite sure how this place gets its title, beach is about a 20 min walk but you can see the sea from your apartment,I guess these are regular refurbished very basic but clean. Not a lot to do in the area, we was aware of this before booking Great base if you get a car and travel around the islandGreat mix of people from all different walks of life nice to meet when using the on site bar.The streets and local area could do with some TLC
