Location

This city hotel enjoys a privileged location in the Raval, Barcelona's top fashion district. It is just 5 minutes’ walk away from the contemporary art museums, the famous Placa Catalunya and the Las Ramblas Boulevard. The Barrio Gotico (Gothic District) is just a 5-minute walk away, as is the harbour. There are perfect underground and bus connections to all destinations in the city from the Liceo stop, which is just 2 minutes’ walk from the hotel. The Barceloneta beach can be reached in just 10 min on public transport. It is a 20-minute taxi ride to Barcelona International Airport.

Facility

186 non-smoking rooms are located on 10 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access in public areas (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected.     We had a great stay at the Barcelo Hotel, very cool place with great service and a great atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the breakfast every day. Location is good, we walked to many of the places we wanted to go. I would highly recommend this hotel

    Nice, clean hotel. Lived in a 2+2 room, very spacious. The gym was clean and well equipped. Varied breakfast, missed allergy information though. The roof terrace have a fantastic view. The pool is not big, but never crowded. About the location, perfect. Many have complained about the square outside. This is the Raval area, maybe the only area that haven´t been gentrified, yet. Local people is leaving here and yes, there are homeless peolpe like in every big city. We ate at the square (with 2 kids) several times and was never disturbed.

    Wonderful hotel in a very convenient area. Easy walk to so many areas (La Rambla, Old Town, Placa de Catalunya, etc). Rooms were super roomy & set up smart (we did have a corner room), front staff was super friendly & Rooftop was super cool. Area is up & coming, but never felt uncomfortable. Just be smart like in any major city if walking around late at night. Would highly recommend!
