The plus and downside

Have been staying here whenever I visit Seoul for the past 4 years. Good location - right beside Sinnonhyeon and 300m away from Gangnam station. Plenty of restaurants and cafes but a lot of shops have closed down. Receptionist can speak well and attend to you promptly. I stayed here from 2nd to 4th Dec on the 12th floor. To my horror, housekeeping threw away all the boxes of all my skincare products from Sulwhasoo. The boxes are placed beside my skincare products. I've no idea why housekeeping or anyone would think they have to be thrown. All my other trash were packed neatly beside the dustbin. And so i had to pack all my skincare products without any packaging and in between my clothes to cushion it. I cut short my stay and moved to another hotel. So beware what you leave behind in the room, especially when you request for housekeeping.

It was pretty much as expected. Not really any surpises.It’s a great location in Gangnam, close to the subway, plenty of shops, cafés, restaurants and activities. There’s a coin laundromat next door.If you want to stay in Gangnam, it’s good value for money. The staff do no not speak english, we had an emergency, but could get no help. So if this is important to you, maybe not choose this hotel.Rooftop garden is completely overgrown, as already mentioned in other reviews, with no shelter and no view and should not be the reason for choosing this hotel! There’s no view from the room, so if you need a view or open spaces, maybe it’s not a place for you.TV channels are Korean only, no english subtitles. Refrigerator and A/C are very noisy, otherwise it was quiet. No noise from the streets (6th floor). It was very clean and it is good value, just don’t expect too much. You get what you pay for. If you need more amenities, like a restaurant or common areas, you should would spend a little more money, and choose a different hotel. It’s very basic.

Convenient hotel in great location with outstanding staff

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was excellent—close to everything—food, shopping and public transport, and the price was very reasonable. My room was comfortable, spotless and well maintained. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and welcoming, going above and beyond to assist with anything I needed. Housekeeping was particularly outstanding, always prompt and diligent in responding to requests. Overall, a fantastic experience—I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!!

No restaurant, no bar and no notification of their absence, despite our advance booking for our stay this week. The advertised roof top garden was unusable, overgrown and felt abandoned. Access to it was by service stairs only, as lift/elevator use to that level was restricted to staff. There were two small elevators dealing with 12 floors. . Returning from a day trip our room had no towels. Reception claimed there were no housekeepers and said we had to collect replacements from reception ourselves. Reception staff were uncaring and lacked sufficient English to operate adequately in a hotel claiming to serve international guests. Left luggage is stored in the open reception area, receptionist did not check our receipt when we collected. The location of the hotel is good, close to metro station. Room and bathroom were clean and a reasonable size. Free toiletries were supplied via wall mounted dispensers. although. There were no bedside plugs. A very small step just inside the bedroom room provided an unnoticeable trip hazard

Good hotel with superb location

Good hotel but (some of) the rooms are not the biggest. The gym has static bikes and treadmills, but is in general not so well equipped. The location however, is superb! Right in the center og Gangnam and very close to the subway and close to the streets with restaurants and bars.
