A Very Happy Guest from the UK - Excellent Hotel Experience

I had a fantastic 7-night stay at the Rockefeller Hotel in Cape Town. My city-view room was spacious, very clean, well-equipped with everything I needed, and had great lighting throughout. Overall, both the hotel and the room were extremely comfortable, and I genuinely couldn’t fault the experience.The location was also excellent - perfectly situated with easy access to Cape Town city centre, the V&A Waterfront, and the CTICC Convention Centre, which made getting around incredibly convenient with Uber. The breakfast was another real highlight. There was an incredible selection of both hot and cold food and drinks - honestly more than you could ask for. I especially loved the live egg station, where a chef prepared eggs exactly how you wanted them, which was a really nice touch.This hotel also had a very good gym, and a nice bar with a shallow* Pool on the top floor. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cape Town, whether for business or leisure, and I’d be more than happy to stay here again in the future.

Amazing Hotel and Staff

First things first, I was travelling alone for the first time in 35 years! Secondly, never been to South Africa before. The Rockerfeller was recommended to me by a friend. WHAT A RECOMMENDATION!!! Despite arriving earlier than check-in, I was welcomed warmly and despite my room not being ready (which I did not expect to be honest), I was offered that my luggage was stored until my room was ready. Brilliant.I stayed at the hotel for 6 nights - it was lovely. The room was spacious, the bathroom and shower were great and the air conditioning / heating was appropriate to ensure a comfortable experience. The food - breakfast and evening meals were delicious. Checkout was seamless. Please use Marvel Travel for transfers to and from the airport. Byron was a legend and such a great guy - he will talk to you about anything and everything - amazing. I did read a previous review about the noise of the wind etc. Yes, I did hear the wind on 2 days, but when you are on the 11th floor, it is to be expected and to be honest, it didn't affect my stay at all. All in all - great hotel, great location and great staff throughout. Thank you and hope to see you again soon. Diolch (Thank you.)

good morning.I would like to review my experience at your hotel.The staff at reception were very professional and friendly, however, the first misunderstanding though which might not be their fault was meals and vouchers. I was supposed to receive breakfast, lunch and supper. On the first day I realised it wasn't scheduled and asked if I could use my colleague's voucher to pay because she had arrived a day earlier and the waiter said okay. Later that night, I am woken up by my colleague because some rude lady manager was holding them hostage at the restaurant because I didn't pay for my lunch.That might be the Hotel policy, but the manner in which the matter was addressed leaves much to be desired, we are guests at your hotel booked in for an entire week, surely we were not going to run away. the matter would have been settled at some point. Some of your waiters need training, their service was lackingMy second problem was, I realised that my sheets were torn, and without causing a scene I reported the matter at reception and was promised that the matter would be sorted, it wasn't until the third day. on the fifth day the sheets reappeared, I decided not to do anything about because it looked like you guys don't replace torn sheets you just use them. My only worry was not to be accused of tearing them myself.My last gripe is noise levels on the corridor by other guests, generally throughout my stay there were people who were making noise in the middle of the night on the corridor.Thank you for your hospitality

My 2nd Visit To Beautiful Cape Town!

I had a wonderful stay at the Rockefeller Hotel in Cape Town and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to make me feel at home, a genuine highlight of the experience.Breakfast was a real treat, with an impressive spread of options to start the day. The hotel's amenities were equally impressive, offering everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.The location is simply perfect, centrally situated, making it easy to explore everything Cape Town has to offer, from the waterfront to the city's vibrant neighbourhoods. And for the quality you receive, the price is incredibly reasonable. Fantastic value all round.I'll definitely be returning on my next visit to Cape Town!

The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the staff were all amazing and welcoming. Our experience with my son was excellent and I would recommend Rockefeller Hotel to anyone visiting Cape Town. They surprised my son for his birthday and I was so grateful. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable.
