Hotel is centrally located, with many restaurants and attractions within easy reach. I visited on a solo trip to celebrate my 35th birthday ??, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.From the moment I arrived , the reception staff were warm and welcoming. They went out of their way to ensure that I was comfortable and encouraged to reach out if I needed anything. I also appreciated the staff member assisted with my heavy luggage ?? ?? upon arrival which is a thoughtful service not all hotels provide.The breakfast was delicious, with wide variety of options to choose from. My room offered an amazing view of Table mountain and the beautiful lights at night made the scenery even more spectacular. Overall, I enjoyed everything about the hotel. The staff were friendly ,professional and always willing to help . Thank you for making my trip so memorable. ?? Unpretentious City Hotel

We stayed at this hotel for several nights pre cruise. Our room was large enough to store 3 suitcases and had a large bathroom. Staff were all friendly and a decent breakfast was available. Drinks, food and shops are all nearby. The main problem for us was late night noise which started around nine and went on until 4 ish. A thumping music sound from a nearby nightclub we think. Probably not a problem on other sides of the building. Just Perfect

We stayed here for 5 nights as part of a bigger group and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The room was well-equipped with a bonus view of Table Mountain. A bath as well as a shower which was very welcome. Every single person we encountered throughout the hotel was friendly and happy. We were treated exceptionally well by everyone. The food and drinks were great. Breakfast was wonderful with fresh eggs to order and a wide selection of buffet food. We also had lunch and drinks from time to time - always enjoyable out by the pool. The coffee shop was also handy, but a special shout out goes to Tendai in the Red Elephant bar for expertly dealing with a bunch of Irish people wanting lots of drinks every evening! He was an absolute star. Would love to return to this hotel some day - thanks for making our holiday.
