Guests have a choice of 3 suites and 36 double rooms located in two 2-storey buildings with lifts. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. A baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. There are a number of shops as well. Guests of the hotel can enjoy various recreational facilities, including the garden, during their stay.     On arrival you are met with beautiful views of the dam and the vineyards but the highlight for me was cellar tour and the wine tasting. The cellar tour was informative and team is very knowledgeable about the history behind the vineyard. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with beautiful crisp linen.     I have been fortunate, through work and holidays, to visit many countries and stay in many hotels over many years; I can honestly say that the staff at Asara were the happiest and most attentive that I have ever encountered. Nothing was too much trouble for them and everything was done with a smile (not always the case in South Africa).My daughter had her wedding at this beautiful location and we stayed for 5 days along with 90 other wedding revellers. Accommodation was good, food was excellent and there were some excellent walks around the vineyards.I highly recommend this hotel.
