  Peaceful and Friendly

  Clean and well equipped apartment. Staff very friendly and helpful. Fresh bread and croissants available to order daily. A car is essential as supermarkets 4 or 5 minutes drive away.There's a good restaurant on site but it is fairly expensive. We didn't find any other restaurants within easy walking distance. Porto-Vecchio town itself is lovely during the day and lively and buzzing in the evening. Local beach is quiet and peaceful but sea is more like a shallow lake with pebbles and algae. Beautiful beaches a short drive away.

  Modern and spotlessly clean

  We enjoyed staying here. Apartment is great. Everything looks new and spotlessly clean.The beds are comfortable. All the equipment is modern. In each room is an electric radiator, which was very useful, because it was cold at nights. On arrival you have to leave a deposit of 400 EUR ( in cash or credit card number ).There is a very nice outdoor swimming pool overlooking the sea. The water was heated up to 28 degrees. The surrounding is carefully maintained. Many flowers, trees and flowering shrubs.The sandy beach is right there, but it's very small. I guess it's crowded in the season.There is no natural shade on the beach.The staff is really kind. It was no problem to communicate in English.   Little Paradise

  We staid at this little resort in June 2017 for a week. Set in a beautiful green garden, it has comfy little appartments with modern bathrooms and equipment, many of which feature a beautiful sunset-view from the balcony towards the mountain range behind Porto Vecchio. I do recommend flat 60 on the second floor. The staff is very friendly and helpful (cheers notably to Alban & Katia :)). We enjoyed playing tennis on the courts with a view over the bay. The adjoint restaurant offers fresh local fish, at a price. We enjoyed going there for a sundowner to enjoy the superb bayview and did the cooking ourself.

  DISAPPOINTING AND DISTRESSING

  The setting is beautiful and the position is lovely. Nice beach and superb restaurant, although this is quite expensive, (about 70 euros per person with drinks/wine). Pool is warm and attractive but beware of water catchment trough at the end of the pool as this represents a death trap to a small child. My 6ft 2" Husband would have trouble getting out.Unfortunately the apartments are dated and utilitarian. Note you have to make your own beds on arrival, and there is no room service whatsoever for the week.You can change your towels for 6 euros per person and double bedding for 12 euros.On arrival you have to leave a deposit of 400 euros and any damages or value of missing items may be deducted from this amount. You are requested to confirm an inventory of ALL items in the apartment on your arrival "no later than the next day". On departure this inventory is then physically checked in your presence by a member of staff who comes to your apartment at an agreed time at which point the key is taken, and, if all is satisfactory, you will be refunded your 400 euros.On departure - "your apartment must be left in perfect state of cleanliness". This is also inspected before you leave and if you are not prepared to conform to this request then you can pay extra for an "end of stay cleaning package". (40 euros for one bed and 50 euros for 2 bed). Our apartment was accessed from a building underpass which made it very dark and dismal, the lights were on almost always. Lots of hot water and the bathroom was really good. Kitchen microwave was dangerously set at chin height on me so hot fluids could readily spill over my chest when taking things out. Heating was provided which was appreceiated as it was a little cold in October. Beds not good and I bought some ibruprofen which we both had to take for the resultant back and leg pain.We found the apartments generally uncomfortable and unappealing and the rules and regime wholly distasteful. On the morning of departure we felt pressurised and distressed when trying to both pack and fully service and clean the apartment.Having someone standing over you making sure all was clean and nothing broken or stolen was just horrible.We would fully recommend this beautiful place and Island but never these apartments. We work very hard and come away for a stress free relaxing break for goodness sake. Dr KF

  It's ok, it's not a special resort

  The village is generally ok. Apartment for 4 people are basically really small. They are not well equipped with wardrobe. Beach could be ok, sea water is ok but the sea-depth is no good, so and at the end I didn't spend time into the village beach. Let's forget nice sand. Problem: they told us we could leave the apartment at 10:00 am, but at 09:00 the servants were ready to ask us all bed linens and towel when it was part of their job and after 10:00 am.
