Really not good( worst hotel ever)

The cleaning lady stole my phone charger. The reception said that I don’t have any proof. But they stole stuff from other people in our floor. Other than that the room isn’t very clean and the staff is rude Raquel Armendariz, Guest Services / Front Office at TRYP by Wyndham Montijo Parque Hotel, responded to this review As informed in the reception the room was very messy, the stuff was all over the room and due to that, the housekeeping couldn't clean the room properly (we have proof).Since they couldn't clean the room, they told us they didn't take the charger even so, we still talked to them, as we informed you so you know the state that you left the room in during your stay, the housekeeping doesn't clean the room in these situation to prevent cases like this, you accused our housekeeping of stealing your charger with no proof at all and knowing you share the room with 2 more people.During your stay you also made noise, bothering other guests, you and your friends were constantly going to each others rooms, you would also forget constantly your room keys, and we would give you new ones.Overall we still gave you a good service.

Terrible place to stay. This hotel is very run-down. We got a room with very old uncomfortable beds, broken shower head, broken wardrobe door, air conditioning incapable to cool down the room even on maximum power on very hot days, unfriendly staff, outdoor car parking wall full of graffiti, and all this in a town full of trash all over the streets. Far away from town and poor food

the hotel ist too far from Lissabon, The rooms had been ok, but the foood was very poor! They had nothing for vegetarians. and only 2 main-dishes, 1 with fish and one with terrible meat. Rooms are clean and bed is comfortable (enough pillows) But staff is not friendly. reception at check in and in breakfast room, they look at you as if why you’re in their space. Didn’t like the atmosphere.Its conveniently located in nice Village Montijo. But no time to see much.Price/roomcomfort is balanced.

Because of our late arrival we were looking for a hotel not too far from Lisbon Airport and as we had only good experiences with the Melia Group in the past we decided for the Tryp Montijo. We were not disappointed - it is maybe 25-30 minutes from the airport, the area felt safe and quiet and there is free parking at the hotel. The room and bathroom were nice and clean and there was a breakfast buffet. As one of us is vegan, I had contacted the hotel before our arrival to let them know about this and asked if they could maybe organize some soy milk for my breakfast (vegan life in Portugal is somewhat limited) and to please provide me with anti-allergic bedding (no feathers!). No problem! I was so pleasantly surprised when they recognized me when we came for breakfast - not only was there soy milk for my coffee, but they had actually even made banana pancakes and a vegan quiche! Everybody was very friendly and welcoming, so I can definitely recommend a stay and would chose this hotel again.
