Stayed at this hotel simply for the location as we were in Amsterdam for a concert. We stayed here for a week and boy are we dissatisfied. Check in was smooth and the agent was very kind. Once we entered our room we should have just went back and asked for a refund. The room was dirty. Stains on the carpet, chair, glass. Hair in the bedsheets as well as dirt. We thought maybe it would get better the next day and to be honest housekeeping was downhill from there. One day they had taken all of our tables and didn’t leave fresh ones so we had to go get some from the front desk. Most days our coffee station was never filled. One day we wanted to sleep in until noon so we put the do not disturb sign out. Once we woke up we put the “please clean room” sign out as the cart was right outside our door. We left for the day and when we got back expecting our room to be cleaned it was not! The next day we got a note from our housekeeper saying the won’t come when the do not disturb sign is up?? Another terrible thing is that the air conditioner is out of order more than it’s working. Upon talking to many other guests it was also them. Some nights it was soo hot in the rooms. Wifi went down often as well and the script from the front desk was it will be back in 1-12 hours. They have ice available on the reception floor but they don’t provide anything to put the ice in. No cups no nothing. The breakfast is severally lacking. Mostly just deli meats and scrambled eggs. All in all we feel like we’ve been robbed from this hotel for €220 a night. Next time I’m in Amsterdam I will be staying at the Marriott across the road.

The enterance to the hotel from the closest bus stop is confusing.We were attended to by a novice at check.in who sent us to the restaurant with drink.coupon saying check.in was complete and she would come and call us when the room was ready which she didnt.We waited and went back to the reception to be told.our check in formalities were not complete.This was really not a good experience.We got an odd shaped room on 15 th floor well lit and with a great view.Toilet's flush placement was inconvenient.Roll away bed was creaky. Overall we had a good stay Breakfast timing slots are given. Despite that lot of crowd,plates and glasses were smelling on one day ,food was not being replinshed quickly enough.To add to this people were taking food items from the breakfast buffet out of the dining hall which I am not sure is accepted behaviour.4 lifts were there of which one was out of order for four days in a row. During peak breakfast time and also at a time when check outs are high, with only three lifts that were also being used by housekeeping staff huge trolleys at that same time it did cause some inconvenience.Internet speed was slowTrain, bus and metro station all in one complex which is 10-15 mins walk from hotel.This also has a big Albert Heijn supermarket there too.The hotel shares a common enterance area with Holiday Inn hotel which has an ATM on site.

We had an incredible 4-day getaway at this hotel. Everything was flawless, and the highlight of our stay was Mia’s outstanding service. She was attentive, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. Thanks to her, our trip became even more special. We will definitely be coming back!

It was my first time in Amsterdam and also my first time staying at this property. The hotel is very elegant and everything was fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the staff were kind in welcoming us. They are all very professional, friendly, and always smiling. I felt at home.The only suggestion I would make is to pay a bit more attention to dust on top of the furniture (such as lamps and the upper parts of the bed). However, this does not affect my overall impression: my rating remains the highest.
