Disappointing and dirty

Clinical looking hotel. Felt like I had walked into a hospital lobby. Reception staff not overly welcoming and definitely won't let you checkin before 2pm, regardless of whether they have rooms available or not.The room felt and looked dirty. Floors and walls dirty, I've had nicer bathrooms in hostels. Pubic hair left on the hand basin, the towels are fraying and a dirty grey, the toilet seat has seen better days. Water didn't drain in shower.Blood stains on the sheets.I wouldn't have chosen this hotel - it was part of an Intrepid tour booking. We had spent two nights prior at Art Palace Suites & Spa which was a diamond in comparison.Location depends on what you're wanting to see in Casablanca. A huge contrast between locations of these two hotels even though they're not that far apart. Oum Palace is reasonably close to the medina and Mosque. We found the area safe but reasonably dirty. Much cleaner and also safe around Art Palace Suites (great restaurants, cafes, parks etc too)The nicest thing about Oum Palace is the porter, who was lovely. Breakfast buffet was quite extensive.They advertise a barber on-site - reception staff have no idea whether there's a barber onsite or not.... Definitely wouldn't choose to stay here again and don't recommend.

This place is a disaster. The buffet will give you food poisoning The bathroom has toxic sewer gas filling the room. I tried to take a 5 minute shower and the floor flooded into our room. And don’t expect the AC to work. This is ideal hotel for first time traveler, youth hostel type or recent prisoners. It’s a joke the my travel agent stuck me with this location go fast to HILTON or MARRIOTT right down the street Tom

Don’t believe the good reviews you read. Bathroom was disgusting and smelled foul. Air conditioning not working although someone was sent 3 times to look at it and said each time it was. Room very basic, as is the rest of the hotel najoua srhiyer, Owner at Oum Palace Hotel & Spa Casablanca, responded to this review So sorry to hear about your experience. I had a wonderful stay at Oum palace. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout my visit. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms are very comfortable. Plus, the location is perfect. Centrally Located and clean rooms.

Hotel was centrally located within walking distance to the Medina, Port and Railway station. The reception was not very helpful and that maybe because they wanted to charge us for early checking. The rooms were ready but they waited till 3.0 pm before they gave us the key. They also did not go by first come first serve and were serving groups that came in later than the group that was there first.The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathroom could do with some upgrade and maintenance. Water was getting clogged in the sink.We had a buffet dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and there was a variety which was good. Only thing was they were not providing drinking water during dinner because they wanted to charge for the water bottles.Overall we had a good stay at this Hotel. najoua srhiyer, Owner at Oum Palace Hotel & Spa Casablanca, responded to this review We feel so sorry to hear that.
