This all-suites resort is located on one of the most beautiful beaches in Playa del Carmen and this is an exotic destination that offers privacy and comfort. The Quinta Avenida is about 100 m from the hotel, where there are bars, nightclubs and restaurants. Nearby is the pier where guests can take the ferry to the island of Cozumel, which is part of the second-largest reef in the world. A bus stop and various shopping facilities are some 300 m away. The tourist centre is roughly 2 km from the hotel and Cancún is around 6 km. The archaeological site at Tulum is approximately 3 km, whilst Cancún airport is roughly 45 km from the hotel.

We needed a getaway from our everyday hustle, so we came on a mini vacation with our nieces for birthday fun. I was a little skeptical from reviews on what to expect, but I will say that the service ,the food …everything was amazing. I am a big beach person and that was one thing I was unable to enjoy. But that is not the fault of the wonderful staff who tried very judiciously to keep the beach clean. Mother Nature has a mind of its own. That being said the service from beginning to end was amazing and I will be back.

We stayed at this resort from 6/26/26 to 7/1/26 that means im still here as im typing..The Service isnt that good, the food isnt good at any restaurant , they charge you to sit at the cabana around the pool 149 us dollars thats the only way u can get food brought out to you while sitting at the pool..The breakfast options at spice isnt good, all of the food places by the pool dont open until 10 or 11 am. The gym was the best part of our stay. They dont have starws you have to drink out of the glass the drink comes in. The staff at the resturants try to up sell you wine and everything else, it dont have the feel of real all inclusive resort and ive been to a few. The will keep your room clean daily. The main lilttle beach area is really small the seaweed is taking over but they do their best to keep it clear,as best they can with a bulldozer while your trying to enjoy your time on the beach. The resort needs upgrades, but has pretty grounds for the most part. I kept waiting for the stay to get better but sorry to say it didnt and i was dissaponinted. The food just isnt good throughout the resort the staff is friendly. You can only order a few items off room service its only one little food bar for the guest that didnt pay to have a cabana and its only a few options, i personally wouldnt stay again or recommend it to anyone. But again its a Hyatt facility and i think thats the problem.

The staff was amazing. They were the best part of our visit. The resort buildings and rooms were very nice. The resort is clean and well-maintained for what it offers, and has nice facilities and amenities.The pools need some work, and the food at certain restaurants wasn't the best. We did find some great eats at certain places, but there's room for improvement here.The beach and water access were unavailable due to sea vegetation. We had no idea until we arrived, and that is one of the main reasons I went to a Gulf resort in that area: to get on the beach. Of course, they don't control this, but prior communication would have been nice. When it was cleaned up, the beach was still not pleasant enough to use, though the people's work was appreciated.

Uncomfortable stay after smoking accusation

During my stay, I was questioned about smoking in my room. I explained that I did not smoke in the room and that there was no smoking issue. My room was searched, and nothing was found. The smoking fee was removed because there was no evidence.Even though the fee was removed, the situation made me feel very uncomfortable for the rest of my stay. I felt like I had to prove I did nothing wrong. After that incident, I did not feel comfortable allowing housekeeping into my room because I was worried about my privacy and belongings.I also tried to speak with the main manager about how uncomfortable the situation made me feel, but I felt dismissed instead of heard. I expected privacy, respect, and a peaceful stay, but I left feeling watched, questioned, and uncomfortable.I hope Hyatt reviews how this situation was handled and makes sure no negative smoking note remains on my guest record.
