  Truely a special trip we will never forget. A huge thank you to all the staff at NH who made our stay so memorable and amazing. Everyone was so accommodating, friendly and polite. Special thank you to Lisa for always helping us with any questions or requests, I was heavily pregnant and she really accommodated us, I really appreciate it, thank you! Also a special thank you to Akbar who was so kind to us around the pool and restaurant, he really took care of us. The food was so amazing, there was always so much choice and we loved the special food nights which were on the beach. Lastly, our room was so lovely and we did not want to leave.   A Birthday Trip Beyond Expectations – Huge Thanks to EL & Ikoo!

  My 2-night stay at NH Maldives Kuda Rah Resort was nothing short of magical. Upon arrival via speedboat from another resort, I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a superior beach villa – beautifully designed in Italian style with a spacious, square layout. The overall cool white palette, accented with Tiffany blue on the headboard and sofa, felt elegant and refreshing – and absolutely camera‑ready! The villa offered total privacy with direct beach access. The private pool and the hanging swing bed outside were equally photogenic – every shot looked like a postcard. Waking up to sunrise over the Indian Ocean and spotting baby sharks cruising by at dusk was pure bliss.But what truly set this resort apart was the heartfelt service – and every single staff member on the island was incredibly warm and friendly, which made me feel so at home even as a solo traveller.A massive shoutout to my butler, EL – she was absolutely fantastic! She added me on WhatsApp right after check-in and checked in on me daily. Although I didn't book any activities through her, she was always quick to answer my questions. Her responses were lightning‑fast, yet she never made me feel rushed. Professional, warm, and incredibly efficient – EL is a true asset to the resort.Special thanks to Front Office Manager Ikoo, who went above and beyond for my birthday. He arranged a birthday cake and in-room decorations, complimentary sea fishing and other water sports, 50% off spa treatments, free-flow soft drinks during meals, a late checkout until 3pm, and even a complimentary lunch on my departure day. Add to that the room upgrade upon arrival – these thoughtful gestures turned a great vacation into an unforgettable celebration.Dining was top‑notch – breakfast at Sea Spray had plenty of variety, with made‑to‑order eggs and local Maldivian dishes. Dinner options ranged from Italian to authentic local cuisine, all fresh and beautifully presented. A special shout‑out to the F&B team – every single staff member was warm and attentive, making each meal a pleasure.The spa was another highlight. Thanks to Ikoo's 50% discount offer, I enjoyed two fantastic massage sessions – one Blissful Package and one Indian Head massage. Both were absolutely wonderful: the setting was peaceful and private, the therapists were highly skilled with perfect pressure, and there was zero hard‑selling – just pure relaxation. I left feeling completely recharged. Highly recommended!Also, a big thank you to the staff member who took photos for me (apologies, I forgot his name!) – super humorous and knew all the best angles – I got some amazing shots! 📸The housekeeping team deserves praise too. Twice‑daily cleaning kept my villa spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable.Final verdict: If you're looking for a resort that combines luxury, genuine personalised service, and stunning photo spots everywhere, Kuda Rah is the place.   Dear NH Maldives Kuda Rah Resort team,I'd like to express my gratitude for a pleasant stay at your hotel. The location was wonderful, secluded, and tranquil, perfect for recuperation. I was especially impressed by the attentive and caring staff: they were always willing to accommodate me, making my stay comfortable. I also really enjoyed the spa—an excellent relaxation area.I'd also like to thank manager El, a wonderful, polite, and responsive young lady. Her professionalism and kindness made my stay especially enjoyable. It was a pleasure meeting her, and I'm truly grateful for her assistance.I have a few comments that I hope will help improve the service. The hotel itself is pleasant, but it's showing its age. Some interior and amenities are in need of updating. A Smart TV in the room would be convenient, so I could watch a movie in the evening. Regarding the restaurants, I really enjoyed the Ocean restaurant; the food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. The second restaurant didn't live up to my expectations, and I found the breakfasts too focused on a flavor profile that doesn't always appeal to European guests (for example, I missed the usual options; often, the only option I found suitable was scrambled eggs).Overall, I was satisfied with my stay.   We came to see Manta rays and we saw Manta rays! Not at the resort - obviously - but not far out.The resort has a good reef around it, the coral has suffered but there are so many fish, sharks and lobsters! We also swam with a turtle.
