    Zero Complaints

    rating02 May 2026

I had a low expectation as this was the least expensive option presented by our travel agent for our stay in Tokyo, but I have to say it was one of the best ever hotel experiences I’ve ever had! I can’t think of one thing that I would begin to have a complaint about. Everything was great from the cleanliness to the service and friendliness of the staff. Breakfast was consistent and wonderfully fresh. The rooftop bar with exquisite views of the City was bonus!

Wonderful hotel in great area of Asakusa.

    rating08 Apr 2026

Book this hotel if you can! We chose Asakusa area for our first visit to Tokyo and we were so happy we did. This hotel is perfectly located across from all the main sites and wonderful shopping and food areas. A short block to the subway station and a bus stop right out front. Including a little grocery store downstairs can’t imagine what else you could need. Our room was positively huge by Japanese standards. We had a seventh floor view room and we looked right down on the historical gate. A small table and chairs set against the window allowed us to leisurely sip our coffee every morning and enjoy the city waking up. We also enjoyed it in the evenings after the sun went down as another perfect place to relax and watch the activity. We opted for the Hotel breakfast, which was lovely. A nice buffet and three choices of entrée selection. After three days, we were considered long-term and got to choose additionally from a second menu. A very nice touch. Cappuccinos there were amazing. The view from the reception area is incredible. We did not get a chance to go up on the roof due to the weather, but the views from the reception area are so nice, I can’t imagine it would be much better up there.Lastly, the staff was extremely kind and accommodating. Particularly the breakfast staff would greet us warmly every morning and we never had to wait for a seat. Considering what a bargain this was compared to a lot of the other hotels I looked at, I was a little concerned going in. But we could not have been more thrilled when we arrived. I would absolutely book this hotel again when returning to Tokyo and particularly loved this area.

    Felt a little disappointed

    rating24 Mar 2026

The positives. Good location moments from train station, sites and many restaurants close by. Big room and bathroom. Downsides are the general upkeep of the building. Rooms are a bit tired and worn. Of all the hotels we stayed at in our two week stay, this was the only hotel that wasn’t a wow in terms of how the room presented. Felt disappointed based upon what we paid.

Beautiful rooms; Helpful staff; Great location.

Beautiful hotel in a great location walkable to attractions and a metro station. We were in room 1104 which had a great view of the Senso-Ji Temple area, Nakamise shopping street and the Sky Tree, which was beautifully lit up at night! It was fun to sit in our comfy chairs at night and enjoy the lights! My mistake was accidentally reserving a smoking room. I was horrified to learn this when we checked-in as both my husband and I can't stand the smell of cigarette smoke! But when we checked the room, we truly couldn't tell it was a smoking room at all! They offered us a room on the 4th floor that was a non-smoking room, but the view was nothing like the views from the 11th floor, and since the smoking room didn't stink, we kept the 11th floor room. I think rooms that end in 04 have the best vantage points in the hotel, but make sure you are on a higher floor. We LOVED the pajamas they provided! Rooms also included large flat screen TV, mini-fridge, coffee maker, safe, coffee, tea, water, toiletries... and "fancy" Toto toilet.
