    Fabulous Stay!

    rating23 May 2026

We only had 2 nights here but could have easily spent a week! We were spoiled at every turn. Every staff member smiled and genuinely tried to assist us. All of the amenities were just what we needed and wanted. Great location for easily getting around Tokyo. We enjoyed our time in the lush gardens. The firmness of the beds took some getting used to, but everything else was lovely.

    Tokyo in April 2026

    rating17 Apr 2026

When we arrived the room that we had been allocated wasn’t appropriate and not to a great standard. Unfortunately, the agent I used to book the room could not be reached so it all became very difficult. On the next day. Mr Yamamoto went out of his way to help us to another room. He was really helpful. We did pay more but it’s well worth it for that extra space and the comfort you’d expect in a hotel. The fault with the booking wasn’t with the hotel but with the agent Logi Travel who are only available on Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm which is ridiculous. Now that we have settled in the hotel has an abundance of restaurants good staff and is very clean. The taxis outside which make accessing anywhere in central Tokyo easy. We are less than 15 minutes from Tokyo station which will be very useful for us as we’re travelling to Hiroshima on the bullet train.

Excellent stay with wonderful service and beautiful rooms.

    rating04 Apr 2026

We had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel New Otani Tokyo and would happily return. The rooms were lovely, very comfortable, and always kept to a very high standard. Housekeeping was excellent throughout our stay — efficient, discreet, and consistently thorough. It is always a good sign when a hotel manages to keep everything immaculate without ever feeling intrusive, and that was very much the case here. One of the real highlights was the main breakfast, which was excellent. Both the Japanese and Western food were of a very high standard, with a wide choice and a level of quality that made it feel like a genuine part of the hotel experience rather than just a routine buffet. The Zen House Club Level experience was also a real standout. It felt calm, polished, and genuinely special, and it added a lot to our stay. The overall atmosphere of the hotel made it easy to relax, and the service in the areas that mattered most to us was warm and well handled. The only real disappointment was Rib Room, which did not live up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. Compared with the rest of the experience, it felt noticeably weaker and out of step with what we expected. That aside, this was a very strong stay overall. Comfortable, well-run, and with lovely rooms, first-class housekeeping, and an excellent breakfast, Hotel New Otani gave us a far better all-round experience than many supposedly more design-led hotels.

    A very nice experience

    rating09 Dec 2025

On the last leg of this year's Japan trip we stayed the two final nights at the New Otani Inn in Osaki. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The room (612) was spacious, clean and cozy. We had three separate beds for my wife, my daughter and myself. The view from the window was across the Meguro River. The hotel is next to the subway station so getting there (and to Haneda Airport) is easy. Underneath there is a big two-story shopping area, which includes an excellent supermarket and many restaurants. This is what is called Osaki New Town, a very nice area.

    Exceeded My Expectations

    rating27 Sept 2025

After reading the bad reviews, I was not really expecting very much in this hotel. After spending my first night, I thought it was actually very good. The first positive I can say is the room space. I mean of all the hotels I’ve booked in Japan ever since my first visit 2007, New Otani Inn Tokyo probably has the biggest rooms I’ve ever stayed in.I mean I could very easily open my luggage and manage my clothes. The second positive is the very filling buffet breakfast. The hotel serves a wide array of selections from salad, soup, beverages, mains to dessert — bacon and salmon everyday ??There is a Lawson convenience store just outside the lobby and there are restaurants nearby just 2 minutes away on foot. The Osaki station Yamanote line is just a 3-minute walk which makes this hotel very convenient for people both on business and personal travels. Will definitely booked this hotel again.
