The location is excellent. The atmosphere is great. The room is beautiful, the perfect size, clean and quiet. The value is unmatched. You get a lot for your money. It is completely worth it.

The hotel is not that great. Rooms are very tight and have no day light even with window shades open. They were also not very clean, i found hair everywhere in the bathroom. There is a fabric headboard above the bed which is full of stains. They do have a breakfast buffet but its not worth the price charged, bread was stale, fruits were from the can. Overall it was a bit disappointing. The lobby uses up so much space for nothing. we had just come in from a few days in Osaka after staying at the Courtyard and this place is nothing in comparison.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall service was excellent.A special thanks to Kayoko at the front desk for her outstanding kindness and professionalism. She went above and beyond to assist us by coordinating and communicating on our behalf, making everything much easier and more convenient. She even kindly helped us by making phone calls to Osaka regarding our work-related matters and provided valuable assistance throughout our stay.Her dedication and willingness to help made a big difference, and we truly appreciate her exceptional service. Thank you, Kayoko, for your warm hospitality and support. We highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

While the rooms are on the smaller side, this was not an issue for us as we primarily used them to rest and sleep. The hotel enjoys a peaceful location while still being within easy walking distance of Kyoto's main areas. What truly stood out was the warmth and hospitality of the staff, who were always welcoming and eager to assist.
