Magical memories of a beautiful city

    rating12 Oct 2026

Perfect location for visiting Venice. We arrived by waterbus which is 5 mins walk from San Marco Giardinetti to the hotel. Every single staff member makes you feel like you are their only guest, from the concierge’s right down to the lovely housekeeping staff. We upgraded our room to hire the private roof terrace for our 25th Wedding Anniversary vow renewal with our children also staying in the hotel. We could see St Mark’s bell tower and the dome of Santa Maria di Salute across the Grand Canal with both sets of bells gently ringing in the backgroud. Our celebrant said it was one of the best locations in Venice he had been to. Everything we wanted to see was within 5-10 minutes walk. My ONLY slight criticism and it is very slight, is that the tables at breakfast were very close, however that just meant we met some lovely other guests.

    Great Experience

    rating07 Oct 2026

The location of the hotel was great. It’s very close to San Marco Square, The Grand Canal and public transportation. The atmosphere is cozy and old world. Our room was very nice and quiet. We thought it was a very good value. The staff was friendly and helpful.

    Excellent hotel

    rating04 Jul 2026

Brilliant located to explore this amazing city, Hotel Kette offers the best of old fashioned values. From the warm welcome at reception to the spacious and clean room. Maybe no frills (but excellent WiFi) but for city centre at this price, we had absolutely no complaints .
