Location

The hotel is situated in the heart of Catania´s commercial zone, 300 m away from the court and not far from the main university faculty. It is only a few paces from the main historical artery of the town (Via Etnea) where guests can admire: the Villa Bellini, the botanical gardens, the theatre and the Roman Forum, and the Achilliane thermal bath which dates back to Roman times. In addition there is the Gothic style cathedral, the 18th Century centre, Via Crociferi, Piazza del Duomo and the Baroque style Piazza dell' Università. Guests may also like to visit the Biscari Palace and the Spanish style San Nicolò Convent, as well as the 'Fera 'o Luni' historical markets and the ancient La Pescheria fish market. The hotel is located not far from the historical centre, port and train station and is only 6 km away from the Catania Airport.

Facility

18 single rooms and 112 double rooms are located on 9 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock.     We absolutely loved our stay here! The room was modern, spacious, and spotless—perfect for three people. The bathroom was large and well-appointed, complete with a bidet, which was a nice touch.A special shoutout to Lorenzo, who went above and beyond by giving us a city map and recommending two fantastic restaurants—both were spot-on! Paolo was also incredibly helpful in arranging our car transfer to the airport. The staff overall were all so friendly, courteous, and genuinely welcoming.The location couldn’t be better—central, convenient, and perfect for exploring the city.     The hotel is centrally located, the design of the room was contemporary, bed was comfy. The best thing about this hotel are the staff, from reception to breakfast restaurant, every one was so welcoming and friendly. They went extra mile to make feel welcome.     We just arrived and didn’t know where to drink. That’s why we decided to sit at the hotel’s bar. Guiseppe was so friendly and recommended us local cocktails which left us pleasantly surprised . The orange juice was fresh and made by Sicilian oranges.     5 star hotel for the price of 4 stars!

    Absolute gem in Catania! I’m surprised why this hotel is rated 4 stars when the service and amenities are surly 5 stars! Upon arriving, we were instantly greeted by a surprise upgrade to a junior sweet (room 721) with clear views of Etna volcano. The entire hotel is impeccably clean. Modern inviting furniture and ambience. The whole hotel smelled heavenly that I had to ask what kind of perfume diffuser they were using! Staff are so welcoming and speak multiple languages. Hotel is very centrally located. It’s a 5 minute walk from the city center with multiple restaurants nearby. Breakfast was adequate. The only thing missing is a live omelette station. But they provide scrambled eggs or hard boiled eggs among many other choices. They gave me the excellent option of checking out online without having to pass by the front desk. But I checked out the old-fashioned way and was gifted a bar of Modica chocolate which I think was a very thoughtful gesture. I had privately arranged for a taxi to pick us to the airport. But it never showed up. The hotel arranged for the a taxi for me which arrived in literally two minutes. I’m grateful for the save! I totally recommend this hotel and will be staying here again!
