Location

The hotel is situated in a quiet location near the main road, about 2 km from the Catania-Messina motorway, 100 m from the shopping centre and 1.5 km from the beach and the town centre. There is a bus stop outside of the hotel, a bus station about 1.5 km away and a train station about 4 km away. Catania-Fontanarossa Airport is situated at a distance of approximately 60 km from the hotel.

Facility

Units include 6 single rooms and 218 double rooms located in a 4-storey main building and a 2-storey auxiliary building. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     Large hotel Efficiently Run

    The second half of our Newmarket Holiday in Sicily was spent at this hotel, which is a large hotel situated adjacent to a busy road some distance from the beach, however, there is a shuttle provided. The hotel has 2 swimming pool areas surrounded by gardens and is well kept and a pleasant place to sit and listen to/watch the many birds that are found in the area.We were given a large well furnished room on the 4th floor with a view of the smaller of the 2 pools, and the fields beyond the boundary of the hotel, however, unlike other rooms, it had no balcony. We had requested twin beds and were happy to find that the sofa bed had been assembled and made up to comply with this request. Unfortunately this bed proved to be not very comfortable, and we were confused when towards the end of our stay we were informed by other members of our group that their rooms had 2 permanent beds, one double and one single, even though they only needed the one (double) bed. Why were we given a room with a temporary bed when one of these other rooms would have been more practical, and comfortable, for our needs?The room itself was quite large with fairly small bath/shower room. Unfortunately on the day of arrival no hot water was available, and on day 2 it was warm, at best. Not what you would expect of a hotel of this size.The food is served buffet style and the options were good and often replenished. Some of the restaurant staff interacted well with their guests. During the evening meal service (7pm-9pm) all inclusive rules applied and water, beer and wine (red and white) was available to be consumed in the restaurant.One negative was the rubber tablecloths which gave the restaurant a downmarket feel.The hotel was kept clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a good choice of hotel by Newmarket.

    Just returned from this hotel we stayed for a week . Spotlessly clean every where, all staff very friendly and great choice of food. Bar staff excellent didn’t have to wait to be served even when busy. Spacious bedroom also very clean lovely balcony overlooking the pool highly recommend this hotel.

    Lovely hotel and offers free shuttle bus from hotel into town and back again! Lovely friendly staff, clean rooms and nice selection of food. Very reasonable prices in bar for drinks, lovely clean pool. Overall a good friendly hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

    Well maintained hotel with large outdoor pool. Rooms are clean and spacious and some with balconies. Bar area comfortable and accessible to outside space. Staff was friendly and efficient. Restaurants are short walk and many near waterfront. Breakfast offered many choices

    Very happy with our stay at Hotel Caesar Palace, we stayed all inclusive.We stayed in room 222 on the second floor, lovely terrace with table & chairs although only 1 sun lounger?About 1 hour transfer from Catania Airport, excellent first impressions, everyone we met was friendly & welcoming.Reception staff very professional.Room was immaculate & spotlessly clean, daily housekeeping.Food was great, big restaurant, we never had to queue, maitre d - Franco - seems to have everything under control. Lots of choice, something for everyone, plenty of fresh salad/fruit etc…Hot & cold breakfasts available.Wine was fine, as was beer, whisky, vodka, gin & brandy also available as part of all inclusive. Pool area is lovely, there were always loungers available although I would imagine it would be much busier in July/August.A few shops around the hotel & a big supermarket 5 minutes walk away. We caught bus to Taormina which was €1.90 each way. It wasn’t a Shuttle bus run by the hotel, rather a regular bus service with stops right outside the hotel. Didn’t run on time though!Taormina is stunning & well worth a visit, about 30 minutes on bus along beautiful costal roads.There is some entertainment at night which was ok. Yes, parts of the hotel could do with a little TLC but it didn’t detract from our stay at all.Would definitely recommend & would definitely return.Thank you to all the hard working staff at Hotel Caesar Palace, we had a super time!
