  The hotel was clean, perfectly located, and affordable. The staff were very helpful and the cleaning staff were polite. It is a basic hotel but when staying in Rome you don’t spend a lot of time in there. It had everything needed, we had a balcony room.There was a television, hairdryer, fridge and toiletries. We were very satisfied with our visit.

  It’s very basic and old fashioned. It’s clean and does the job. The room was fine, although we didn’t have a duvet and was only a blanket type thing which was odd but wasn’t a huge issue. The breakfast itself is nice but the selection is really poor, so I’d advise going out to eat if you want to have a better choice. Staff were friendly and the location is excellent as you are only 30 seconds from Rome Termini which allows you to get to all the tourist spots in Rome easily. Also a 30 minute walk to colosseum isn’t too bad. The check in was fine, the guy was talking to the person in the next hotel so there isn’t someone on reception all the time and we had to go in the other hotel to ask how to check in and thankfully the staff member was there. Be aware, it’s not the easiest to find in the dark as it doesn’t have any large sign above the door, it’s just a very small sign by the door, a lot easier in the day. Overall, it’s far from luxury but it’s a no thrills place to stay. Does the job especially if you are planning on exploring Rome all day.

  Rome felt like home!

  This hotel is fabulous. I stayed there 3 times in Dec 24 - Jan 25. I am an older woman and felt very safe and comfortable. Later I returned with my adult son for a further 3 nights. The hotel is so handy to everything. We went to Milan and then returned for another 2 nights. The Rimini Hotel made Rome feel like home!

  The hotel was nice, but my room was very small, however, one of my friends had a much larger room. Also, they were renovating serval rooms when I was there, the construction did not bother me but it was a little dusty as a result. The staff were helpful and professional. I would definitely stay again, I like that it was in walking distance of Termini.

  This is an honest review of my experience. The hotel is a great location, has some faded grandeur but is basic. There is no tea or coffee or water in the room for example.I paid for basic - basic is fine but complete inconvenience is not. The main issue is the noise inside. The bedrooms had wooden laminate floors. They looked clean and modern and like a fairly new addition. This meant that every step in the room above and the rooms either side of it and the rooms next door could be clearly heard. Especially wheeled suitcases and moving chairs and the person in high heels who arrived when we were trying to sleep and walked back and forward to unpack 100 times. The doors are heavy and slam loudly especially the boys next door who went in and out of each others rooms until the early hours. This is not a hotel that you can have either an early night or a lie in.Our package did not include breakfast. We knew this but asked if it was still possible to buy breakfast at the reception. Yes, he said 10 euros each. So we went to breakfast. The guy said he did not have our room down but it was ok. It was clearly not ok as a blazing phone call went on in the back room to Reception which was uncomfortable for everyone. And we were charged 12 euros.Lastly the shower over the bath holding rail was gone (it was there once but holes were filled). You had to shower holding the spray over your head and washing with one hand.The location was good and the housekeeping was good.
